Perfect date night spot! Had the set menu plus the fisherman’s plate. The set menu was a perfect mix of all the Greek favourites, and we opted for the Ouzo which was something different! It was a shot that turns milky when you add water to it… so cool but unfortunately has a liquorice flavour which my partner and I were not the biggest fans of … All the dishes were 10/10, from the olives, lamb shoulder, salad, potatoes to the dessert. We really enjoyed the fisherman’s basket, it was so lightly battered and fresh. Highly recommend this restaurant. The service was also great, the lady who served us originally from Brooklyn NY was so lovely 🥹 Thank you and will definitely be back to try the other donut dessert…
Something to note - we sat outdoors but when we checked in, the indoor seating sounded really loud, it’s a bit hard to hear the person you’re speaking with

We celebrated a birthday dinner with a party of 7 at The Apollo. We are big fans of The Apollo in Ginza Tokyo so I was very excited to try the original restaurant.

The food was beautifully cooked and we really enjoyed the slow cooked lamb & the Greek salad.

When we were led to the chef’s private dining space, we were a little surprised at first with the space & decor due to cultural differences. It was indeed a store room turned into a dining space. However we grew to enjoy the space by the end of the night. The room provides a different feel to the main seating area.

Thank you for accomodating us to celebrate our night.

The Apollo consistently delivers with prompt, courteous service and a welcoming atmosphere. On this visit the chicken dish was moist and flavourful, while the lemon rice, though tangy, was a bit overpowering for my taste. The staff graciously accommodated our request for a quieter spot by the bar. A standout was the crisp, cheesy iceberg lettuce salad.

Went there with a group so they had us choose a fix menu. Place was packed so it was a bit loud. Service was fast and servers were attentive in refilling water and taking out plates but not really welcoming. Food was great, albeit expensive.

Absolutely loved our dining experience at The Apollo, the food was delicious so fresh and their take on a ‘dirty’ martini was delicious! Vodka infused with olive oil!!! Vibe and ambience was perfect, and the staff were all amazing - well done and thankyou 👏🏻🫶🏻

Compliments not only to the chef but to the entire staff. The Apollo was like a scene out of a movie. The outside dining experience was surely memorable. An exuberant crowd made all of our food choices easy as neighboring tables gave their praises and recommendations. Our server Geetz was so cool and knew his stuff. We ordered a light and airy orange wine that Geetz recommended Along with a summery filled watermelon margarita. First up was the TARAMASALATA which came with warm pita. The appetizer was very flavorful with hints of a fish flavor from the roe along with a ambient citrus flavor profile. The tomahawk lamb cutlets were amazing and braised to perfection with a crispy salted layer. The Prawns were unreal and HUGE! (look at the pictures) They were lightly fried and flavored. We all love dessert so we got the donuts and enjoyed the view of the city and tried to etch in our memories how delightful of a meal we just experienced.

We arrived at 21:30 on a monday and were almost immediately seated at a table (party of 5). We had made a reservation earlier that same day at noon and they were happy to take us in. At first we wanted to sit outside, but that area had already been closed off for the night.
We ordered 2 tzatziki with pita bread, the saganaki cheese with honey and oregano, a lamb shoulder, village salad, charcoal chicken and the swordfish, along with roast potatoes. For drinks, our lovely waiter offered either still or sparkling water - we chose still. The table also got a bottle of 2021 Gentilini Rhombus, a glass of orange juice and two mocktails: the "No Boozy Karpouzi" - a watermelon rosewater, and the "Pearsepho-No", which is a pear, elderflower and lemon drink with a touch of coriander. We asked for the cheese and pita to arrive first alongside the drinks, and it was amazing, everyone at the table loved the saganaki and as someone who loves tzatziki, i was amazed at how good it was, aswell as the fresh bread, which really complimented the flavour well.
Finished with the entrees, it was time for the main dishes. What really excelled in our eyes was the charcoal chicken and roast potatoes, with a simple but strong taste, which almost brought me to Greece. The salad was also brilliant, but it must be said that obviously, if you don't like feta, this isn't for you. I was told that the fish was very good too, but I personally don't like seafood, so I can't give you my opinion. The lamb did not taste as good as expected, but nevertheless, it was still nice, but as we couldn't finish it all, we got it for takeaway.
Afterwards we ordered two desserts - the honey doughnuts and ice cream made of goat milk, the ice cream was exceptional and the doughnuts were also extremely delicious, with an interesting sauce, which tasted a bit sour, but went well together with the pastries. Sadly, we didn't get to try the highly recommended lemon meringue pie, but there's always next time.
I would also like to give a very special thanks to our waiter - Diego, who was very nice and helpful and seemed to fulfill any request we had, his suggestions were also top notch. He was also fun to simply chat with, funny too. Can't wait to meet him again.
In summary, the restaurant was clean, the waiters were friendly, the food was amazing, the atmosphere was great and the bathrooms smelled like lavender, which was a nice little touch. I truly, truly can't emphasize enough how much I've fallen in love with this restaurant from my first visit, and I'm sure there are many more to come - maybe I'll even get a drink at the bar, which was lit by romantic candlelight and looked enticing. Thank you again very much, and this visit will not be our last visit - until next time.

Traditional Greek food done really well, just like mum makes!
We went for a special birthday dinner and had Apollo’s Feast menu which is fantastic for groups. The menu included all the Greek highlights - saganaki, lamb on the oven, taramasalata, pita and of course Greek salad. Every single item on the menus was delicious and portions were generous - enough to take home the leftovers and were all big eaters.
The watermelon and ouzo granita dessert was stunning, super refreshing and the perfect way to end a meal. The lamb so cooked so well it just fell apart and knives were optional. The tarama was also a highlight for me, it’s the tastiest I’ve ever had.
The Apollo is a great choice for any special occasion as the service and food are impeccable and it’s a cool restaurant

A very nice vibe...busy of course, but that is good to see. The menu was nicely varied and made it possible to have a scrumptious pre-theatre dinner that didn't hill us up to much. The provision of 500ml carafes was also appreciated as was the comprehensive wine list. something for everyone.

I can’t recall how many times I’ve been here because it’s THAT GOOD. Guaranteed crowd pleaser. The slow cooked lamb is the best you’ll ever have.
Traditional attentive service accompanied by wait staff who know the menu back to front.
Can’t get enough of the Apollo.

We celebrated Mothers Day at The Apollo, there was 7 of us and the atmosphere was great. It was cozy and warm which was so pleasant. Upon arriving our mums were given a white flower and glass of champagne which heightened their experience. We were looked after by the gorgeous Lily, who broke down the Mothers day menu and recommended some top cocktails for us to try.
The food is always a winner, the menu allowed us to explore what they had to offer and it was delicious. The crowd winners were the dips, croquettes, saganaki and of course the lamb shoulder. We wanted to share some exciting news with our family and our host Lily went above and beyond to make it very special for us. We will be back again.

greet vibes and customer service. the gentlemen who serve us tonight were truly informative and helped us with dish options. The food overall is good. but the special menu of the day (the pork) meat I received was noticeably hard and tough when I tried to cut into it, the texture remained chewy and difficult to bite through. It lacked the desired tenderness and juiciness that I expected. Other than that I would recommend the lemon pie, love it.

We had an outstanding long lunch for a birthday with a group of 20. We were all blown away by the service, the drinks, food. The atmosphere was vibrant and full of laughter, yet still refined and worthy of a fine dining restaurant. The best lunch in a long while!

This was a fantastic dining experience. A nice cozy space with buzzing Saturday night vibes. The staff were lovely and attentive. The service was definitely on point. I highly recommend ordering The Full Greek set menu, which is priced at $70 per person. It’s a decent portioned set menu and it gives you a great insight into this restaurant’s cuisine. I will definitely be back again.
