This was an unforgettable experience. When I first met Dr. Emily Granger, she answered my questions with her professional knowledge and gave me the confidence to face heart surgery. I am very lucky that Dr. Emily Granger's medical team performed mitral valve replacement surgery for me. They used their superb medical skills to achieve the best treatment effect for me. Now in the ICU, John takes good care of me. I will not In English, he used a mobile phone translator to communicate with me. I didn’t feel unfamiliar with the language barrier. The nursing team gave me meticulous and professional care. I am recovering well now and getting better day by day. Thank you very much St. Vincent Hospital. Thank you very much Emily. Every doctor and nurse on the medical team.

Grateful for the service provided by the staffs at the hospital. My mother had to visit the emergency department. The junior doctor Ranon Yueh was patient and thorough in assessing my mother and took the time to explain the diagnosis and the next steps before the discharge. The male nurse (I think his name was Timothy) was very experienced. The support staff Robert was so friendly, helpful and attentive, made the wait (for the result) pain free. Even the paramedics who took my mother to hospital checked on my mother a few times. I thank the whole team at the St Vincent's Hospital.

Years ago I came here for care after trying many different types of Chemotherapy radiation ,even a drug trial and previous autologous stem cell transplant for my constantly relapsing cancer.
I was placed in the care of Professor Moore and his brilliant team who got me through my next transplant with my sister .
Then ongoing care support management and maintenance of my health since. These guys are world class ...years later I'm still cancer free and well supported by the same team.
In the last few years I've needed care and management for a heart condition.
After numerous relapses and admissions at my district hospital for my heart condition, I have been referred to St Vincent's once more.
This time it’s with the heart team who are also world class and top of their game.
I am so grateful to all the care and treatment I have received here in my recent stays, and I'm so thankful to all the professionals i have met. Professor Mc Donald has been a fantastic positive calming influence to me in this scarey time.
His staff are incredible and I feel so lucky to have them caring for me as I now as I face an imminent heart transplant .
The support of all the nurses and staff of every level is second to none I have seen, and I have been in more hospitals in my last ten years than most people see in a lifetime.
My family at home is also huge fans of this place and the support that was given to my wife throughout my cancer battle is beyond words !
We now after cancer remission have a young child and are trying to get on with things.
The heart stuff is serious but I know that if anyone can fix it its these guys here. I'm so grateful we have this amazing place in Australia!!! As is many more people who have passed through these doors before have been.
Thanks to everyone on every level here. You do an amazing job!!!

My experience in ED yesterday was faultless. The entire team were exceptionally professional, efficient and caring. Despite being very busy on Boxing Day, I received excellent care for a head wound requiring stitches. Working in public health must be challenging and sometimes thankless, so a massive thank you to everyone for making the process as painless as possible.

Best staff and doctors. I will forever be grateful and appreciative of this hospital. Please if you come here be respectful to every staff member. They are already doing so much with the little staff at times. They are amazing and helped me get a double lung transplant.

Went in with really bad gastro, took me though straight away, gave me a bed and all, 15 minutes of being there and they already giving me drugs to make me feel better. All the staff were so nice and lovely, you could tell it's a good work environment. Great facilities and everything. If I didn't live so far I would always use this hospital.

Blown away by how incredibly kind, caring, friendly, helpful staff were in St Vincent’s Public ED, despite how busy they all were. Such a completely different experience to that of another Sydney city hospital recently.

I really couldn't ask for more. As a foreigner they gave me a proper service compared to another hospital I've visited. At least they can be nice when communicate with the patient. Cheers for all of you guys in emergency room.

It's a real shame when caring quality doctors and support staff are let down consistently by an aggressive unprofessional receptionist . I have not had this experience ever before in the 20 years I have been attending the hospital at Neurophysiology as a regular outpatient. I won't post her name here to protect her privacy ,however If you are a Neurophysiology outpatient on the first fIoor you would know the head receptionist and have likely experienced this yourself . It is always very upsetting and demeaning . The 5 stars are for the doctors and the rest of the support team and past receptionists who for the last 20 years have delivered excellent care and professionalism at all times . It's ashame that one staff member is letting down the team on a consistent basis and I am sure I am not the only one that has experienced her obvious aggression and distaste for her job and the patients .

No judgement, just exceptional care and compassion. Also from the ambulance service team that took me to the emergency room numerous times this year. We are the luckiest people on earth to have such a health-care system. I was always treated with the utmost respect and compassion by every doctor and nurse. Amazing medical care! Thank you very much.

Dr Samiya Massey was so helpful and took the time to answer all my questions and discuss my options while also taking my goals into account and described how and when each option was used for and their pros and cons.
