Caffè Roma

Absoultely amazing place. Top notch delicious quality food. Great owner. And amazing Nepali staffs who do the hard work on the floor and kitchen.

Such a lovely hidden gem and extra points for being open late! Their pasta was delicious. Highly recommend trying their antipasto roma platter which had the best prosciutto I’ve ever tasted!

Great service, poor lighting, fun vibe, decent pizzas, great pastas, and good memories. The vibe here is very welcoming and friendly when you walk in. They treat you like good mates and really want to make sure you’re having a good time. I like how they give you chalk and lay paper on the table as the “tablecloth” so you can relive your childhood and draw on the tables.

We came here for a Christmas party so we were able to try a multitude of foods. Here is the summarised review:

Pizzas
- Margherita - very nice, simple but good crispy base and well cooked topping with good ratios of everything
- Garlic - bit too much garlic. Was good after one, but a whole pizza (I think we got four of these), was too much!
- Bruschetta - a lot of tomato, very fresh and good flavour. Just a little messy!
- Pizza con Porcini Bufala e Grana - didn’t eat this but I think people said it was good!

Pasta
- Pesto trofie - yum. It had a good flavour but wish there was something else in the dish too!
- rigatoni beef - the best pasta here!! Highly recommend. There was just something about it that was really really good
- gnocchi tartufo - the hint of truffle makes it just that more special. It wasn’t chewy or too soft, and tasted very nice!

Others
- antipasti - I don’t eat most of the meats in these so I can’t comment on much, but the eggplant was very nice
- burrata - pretty standard !

Get a group together and come here. I reckon it’ll soon be in one of those “Places to eat at in Sydney” articles, so get in before it’s no longer a hidden gem 💎

Wonderful pizza, I had a margherita. It was so good I forgot to take a photo! Then after that I had a chocolate mud cake. (I know, great combo). Anyways the place has a wonderful atmosphere, and the service was FAST, also staff were kind. Overall wonderful restaurant.

So great. Could not fault Caffè Roma. Went on Friday night, walked from our Hotel. The service was top notch, efficient, friendly and professional. The food was great ( I'm wishing I was there right now!). I would absolutely go back and have already recommended this restaurant to my Sydney mates.

A hidden gem! Absolutely stunning the food and the service is 10/10! The gnocchi Gorgonzola is to die for together with their Tiramisu!
Staffs were very friendly and attentive salute to Riwaz and Allan they made our dinning experience very special and they were very welcoming whenever I come in to dine in!

Authentic Italian cuisine, this place did not disappoint in the menu. Everything we ordered was delicious and full of taste, the wood fire pizza was so perfect and can we take a moment for the Pesto Gnocchi that was to die for! The staff were accomodating and welcoming making sure everything was okay. We wil definitely be back here again!!!

What authentic Italian food this place has to offer! A cosy and rustic feel to it, spacious inside and despite being close to the hustle of the cross the outside dining is comfortable and you're not being drowned out by noise pollution so it makes for having an easy conversation over food and drink. Dive into the menu, all the food looks and smells incredible and the drink selection is top notch, I'll definitely be coming back again. Thanks Caffe Roma!

I can't believe it took me this long to visit Caffe Roma! The decor itself is dark but cosy and intimate. It’s perfect for date night, small groups, large groups, young people, old people.. basically it’s for everyone. And you’re probably wondering why the tables are covered in butchers paper? Grab the crayons and create some art while you wait for your food. Who said it’s just for kids?!

The 'Parpadalle Ragu' was incredible. Ribbons and ribbons of perfectly cooked pasta with a rich and hearty sauce to match. This was my favourite out of the lot by far.

The 'Penne Amatriciana' closely followed. The bacon bits were beautiful and I loved the mix of completely melted cheese and the cheese that had just been freshly grated on top.

I believe the pasta used in the 'Pesto' was Gemelli. Now, I love a good pesto sauce but sometimes it can be a little boring. This dish kept me excited and going back for more, simply because they added potato and green beans. I absolutely LOVED this!

And of course, their 'Ravioli'. Generously filled pockets of smooth ricotta tossed in a creamy, walnut sauce. Just beautiful.

Their pastas are amazing, no doubt about that. Oh and ask for their chilli oil. It's homemade and will take your pasta to a whole other level!

We got to try the ‘Prosciutto e Rucola’. It had a good amount of topping on the perfect base, ensuring an easy pick up and a nice fold. The prosciutto was some of the finest I’ve seen and again, with their chilli oil, it turned it into something special.

Food and service was outstanding! Top quality experience!
The only gripe was how noisy the place was, Being so busy with confined surroundings and hardwood floors, it was hard to hear each other speak.

Friendly stuff, good food, good location, nice vibes, quiet(if you goto quiet time😉) can't go wrong with any food from menus.. you won't regret what you get and that's how much you are paying for.. 💯 recommends

We did take away from Caffe Roma and it was all delicious. Husband and I shared the penne Aritciana (can’t remember spelling!); the spaghetti carbonara and the garlic pizza. It all smelled so good and the food was so yummy. Def recommend this place. Whilst we didn’t dine in, when we picked the order up inside dining looks like a great atmosphere

Cafe Roma is my go-to spot! The food is seriously amazing – they've got something for everyone. The staff is super friendly and always makes you feel right at home. Shoutout to the owners for creating such a cozy place with top-notch dishes. It's my go-to for a chill hangout or a special meal!

My favorite Italian caffe in Sydney. Authentic Italian cuisine, cozy atmosphere and the owner is a legend. Do yourself a favor and visit this lovely restaurant!

Seafood pizza was unlike anything I had experienced before. Ordered over the phone ready when said and hot. Good quality service and ingredients.

Have been eating at Cafe Roma a few times now. The food is incredible. The Swordfish steak is a favourite of mine. Service is great and the trading hours are so convenient.
I do recommend you try the place.

The best, most authentic Italian food in Sydney that won't cost you an arm and leg. The atmosphere is very romantic but as the night grows it turns into a very exciting and pumping restaurant.

The food is that good, when ever I'm in Sydney for work I stop in for dinner by myself. I take our team here for dinner when the opportunity presents.

Amazing atmosphere and delicious meal. We started with Bruschetta and finished with Pizza Campagnola and Penne al Salmone.

One of the very limited fine dining (not fast food) places in Kings Cross that still offer kitchen food past 9.30pm. Friendly staff. Very dimly lit rooms with candle decoration and outside seating available. Food Garlic bread $8, cured meat carpaccio di Manzo $28, penne salmon $29 are all nice. The wait for penne was a bit longer, but it was also piping hot. Overall satisfied! :D
