Very clean and well space camping areas, we stayed at Dee's Corner and some of the site away from the road have great shade and are all very close to the lake, water is brackish but clean and clean. Sandy bottom made it easy to walk about.
There is a walking track to the surf beach directly opposite the camp ground, with a pretty easy walk to the beach.
There is 4wd access to the beach there too but you do need a permit.
We had a very enjoyable stay.

Beautiful national park, lots of wildlife dingoes, monitors, bush turkeys kookaburra, birds , rough roads in a car 4x4 is ok for tracks or 2x4

The Grandis. A very mature and tall flooded gum tree. A real show piece. Easy access on site. The approach road is unsealed but in great shape. Take some bug repellent if critters annoy you. The access is via the lakes way or Wooton way. Enjoy

Great park - there are camping fees and park entry fees but it's well worth it for the facilities and how beautiful this park is. Bring you're own firewood if there isn't a ban and keep your eye out for dingoes and goannas.

The Worimi Aboriginal people had inhabited the Myall Lakes National Park land area for its abundance of natural resources. These natural resources had offered a traditional hunter-gatherer lifestyle for the Worimi people. The park includes important spiritual sites that are an important part of the identity of local Aboriginal people. Dark Point Aboriginal Place served as a location for the Worimi people to gather together for ceremonies and feasts and has been of significance to Worimi people for at least 4000 years.

Good, clean toilet facilities throughout the park and ranger presence.
Mungo Brush has a beautiful clean lake area with gorgeous views and areas of shade near the water and picnic tables. A really beautiful spot to swim and watch the boats and jetskis in the distance, and enjoy the panoramic views of the surrounding hills and water.
Rubbish and recycling skips at Mungo Brush were very helpful.
The ferry to cross at Bombah Point was a nice little ride.
The Banksia Green area was a great spot to camp with barely any mosquitoes. Plenty of short green grass and open area for the kids to play and even a little sandy area which they found fun. Byo shade for your camp area!
Dingoes, goannas, fairy wrens, whipbirds, cicadas and Eastern Water Dragons were all seen and/or heard around the place.

Absolutely best place for a quiet relaxing holiday. The water is perfect for kids 5 years and over. There is a swing for kids to swing over the water and jump into it. At night you can put your aqua socks on and grab you torches and nets and have fun scooping little fish. All in all fun, great, relaxing place to stay.

Beautiful park, amazing nature, very diverse with the lakes, ocean beaches, rainforest, ...
I absolutely loved the walking trails such as the Mungo Rainforest walk and the one to Dark Point, where you get really breathtaking views!

O'Sullivan's Gap is on the Old Hwy and not on the current main hwy, so you have to make a slight detour, buts is worth it.

Quiet, clean popular spot, swim in Lake, walk to ocean - too rough and dangerous for swimming but nice walks. No solid fuel fire allowed.

Breathtaking scenery everywhere you go, plenty of camping options and you can have a fire place in most which always adds to the charm. Put this place on your must see list
