Badger and Fox Gallery

Although I have not been able to visit the Badger and Fox Gallery in person, being on another continent, I had a pleasure of doing business with Peter, both by e-mail and phone. In all our interactions, Peter was knowledgeable, professional, efficient and friendly. Buying a beautiful painting from him was a great experience. Highly recommended.

Stunning little gallery in a gorgeous Georgian terrace in the heart of Surry Hills. Always a surprisingly varied collection of exhibitions, and the curator is charming, friendly and knowledgeable. I’ve purchased a couple of pieces here and hope they’re the first of many!

I purchased a lovely Tom Garrett monotype via their website and the service could not have been better. The picture arrived promptly, very safely packaged and was exactly as advertised. After the purchase I received a follow-up phone call to check if I was happy and I had a most pleasant chat with Peter. There were follow-up emails to boot. Excellent.

On a friends recommendation, I discovered this delightful gallery in Surrey Hills a few years ago, and now always try to make a visit whenever I’m back in Sydney. The friendly, engaging and knowledgable owner goes out of his way to make you feel welcome.

I was introduced to Badger and Fox by a friend who I was visiting in Surrey Hills recently. They said that as a keen photographer I would particularly enjoy the photographic exhibits and I was far from disappointed. An eclectic array of art and photography not to be missed any time you are in Sydney. Looking forward to my next visit.

Why go to the art gallery, when you can go to Fox Gallery? I have dealt with Rebecca from Fox for two years and have bought various pieces, including Esther Erlich, Victor Rubin and Mark Schaller. I wish I had more wall space.

Badger and Fox is a refreshing find in Sydney, with a nice selection of Australian and International modern art. I purchased a lovely vintage photograph of a Moroccan marketplace. Highly recommended!

Hidden gem on Riley st. This private gallery is curated by two gents with independent vision. They especially love photography and have excellent pieces by famed and lesser know photographers which appear regularly in group shows.

Terrific gallery, knowledgeable curator, owner and collector, Peter. Particularly good with photography but also classic Australian painting. Highly recommended.
