Beautiful camping ground! The spots were well marked and spacious. We loved the fire pits and the fact that they had a splitting stump. Drop toilets were so clean and didn’t smell. Easy access by road, 2WD accessible. The beach was beautiful and the wildlife were awesome! We saw dingoes, many bird species and even dolphins! Very special spot that we will definitely return to.

This camping ground is amazing, it's well protected from the elements considering how close to the beach it is. Very clean and the other campers were really respectful, the drop pit toilets are really well maintained and don't stink like other grounds iv been to. Fishing here is great too, really good sided catch on offer.

Nice little primitive campground in Mungo Brush. Very cosey with only 16 sites. Drop toilets were clean, no showers or bins but had fire places.

Lovely spot, 15 mins from Hawksnest so close enough but also very isolated. Lovely beach. 2 x toilets are fine, very little smell. Water trickle is good enough for hands / fill a solar shower etc.
Dingos in this area so don't leave food out. Snakes common, so be on your toes.
Really good size sites. Iffy phone reception (not a bad thing).
The lake is 5 mins drive up the road too. Stunning spot.

Fabulous camp ground with large camp sites, long drop toilets and camp fires! There is even direct access from the campgrounds to the beach!
There is also a large number of side by side sites as well, perfect for multiple families!

Awesome camp ground for a first time camper. We loved that the camp was spacious and clean. The fire pits were perfect for roasting marshmallows and boiling water for tea.
The toilets were very clean but smelled worse than nightmares but I just held my breath.
The kookaburras were very bold and tried to steal a sausage from our bbq. We saw some wild dingoes but they didn’t bother us. Over all an awesome time!

This is a great camp site. Great fishing on the beach. No swimming as there are sharks.

I can't stress how beautiful this area is. On one side there's a beautiful beach and a 30 min walk in the opposite side is a lake.

Beautiful campsite great area short walk over to the beach for a swim or a fish
Camp fires available in designated areas
This site is best suited to beach fishermen as it is not close to the lake like most other campsites in the area
There is a population of dingos and native bush turkeys
Please bring your own bin or keep rubbish in your car or up high as the dingos will drag your rubbish away looking for an easy feed
There are skip bins available a short drive North at mungo camp area
Vehicle passes are required for the national Park and can be brought from the rangers that patrol the area as well as a few shops locally ( fishing shop and newsagents)
Ice and limited supplies are available across the ferry a few kms north of this location it's recommended that you visit npws webpage before you visit as there is a new system being introduced allowing you to book your campsites online
There are drop toilets but no showers

Great smaller camp with great access to beach. Good toilets and good exposure to the sun for solar panels. Plenty of visitation from local dingoes, keep a tight grip on your sausage as the local kookaburras love a dive and grab. Please don't feed the buggers. At least he left my fingers intact.

It's a very nice campground. There's a long drop toilet but no drinking water facility. You'll need to bring your own. The ground is soft hence it is easy to peg your tent. Very short distance to the beach. We did Mungo track which starts from Hawks Nests all the way to this campground. 23.5km in 6.5 hours walk. It's beautiful. Definitely will visit again. Bring your own firewood.

Excellent site with plenty of green space for the kids to play and a little sandy area as well near the beach track.
Well kept toilets, sighting of three dingoes in the campground and a couple of goannas. Lots of fairy wrens. Sunny site with few mosquitoes.
