Only quick visit but great access to a point break for surfers, family beach access the other and a boat ramp to lagoon. Nice grassy flat picnic areas and ample parking (maybe not in high season). Top spot love to go back (without the dog).

What a fantastic and well hidden jewel. If you are in the Manning river region head out to Old Bar and find this park a great day out for the family. Toilets and showers are available, but take your own eats. There is a Coles at Old Bar + shops.
Enjoy.

This place is very beautiful. 370 meter walk through trees, near bush turkey to over look the ocean in the hope of watching whales.
Photos after the fires od recent weeks. Very sad for everyone and everthing affected (animals) by the fires.
Thanks to RFS, Fire brigade, Police, neighbours, family and friends that rallied together to save what you did.🥰🙏

Beautiful NP to visit just north of Forster-Tuncurry, Coastal Vegetation, lovely short walk up to the headland as well as a great picnic area along the Creek. There are toilets available.

Beach is too dangerous with rocks, sudden drops. Lagoon is cool and very popular with families.

This is a great natural place to visit. There is a small village at Wallaby. Then turn right to go south of the headland. Here the beach is good to surf at the northern end. The lagoon is great for kids. This is an aboriginal historic site. Lots of shady trees to park under. Fishing is great as well

New growth is sprouting. Things are coming back to life after the fires earlier this year.

Wowsers.......Today I called into Saltwater National Park for a late lunch and to check the surfing conditions which were far from optimal given that there was a small south swell and moderate north east wind (on shore sloppy conditions).
Now this is what has amazed me........I turn on the computer at the end of the day and it is inviting me to give a review of Saltwater National Park......Big Brother is alive and well and just a lttle bit of a sticky beak......

Beautiful spot although very busy today. Lots of parking and easy to find a spot on the beach. There are toilets and outside showers available to wash the sand off.
