Kai is an amazing stylist. I simply showed her photos of the hairstyles I liked, and she brought them to life. The hair wash was incredibly relaxing, and I adore the delightful scent of the shampoo. Also, I'm quite fond of the design of this shop's decoration.

Amazing Japanese hair straightening! I recently got my hair straightened there about a month ago. I was probably their worst nightmare as I have 3C hair, a small part of it is bleached and it was very damaging as I used to straighten it a lot. I can not say that everyone will have the success I did with bleached hair as I know it affects the treatment, luckily I only had part of my hair bleached and it turned out really well. If anything it’s a bit wavy. The customer service was brilliant it really seemed like they wanted to make me comfortable from the drinks they offered to the magazines they kept up to date from recent months and even the lollies they have at the front desk. My hair turned out amazing and the haircut was nicely done too. I will definitely be going back and would recommend this place!

I would also like to say that I do realise they offer a $10 discount for a positive review so you may think this is for that purpose but my genuine experience was wonderful and this is my honest opinion.

Great Japanese hair straightening! My hair is previously straightened and colored, and other salons refused to straighten my roots. Kosuke and the other stylists were very capable in assessing my hair and treating it. Great customer service as they ensured that I was comfortable during the process. They were very patient and persistent in each step of the procedure. Thanks again Planet Hair!

I had trouble finding the place at first until i realised it was an elevator with on the second floor, I was kindly greeted by the staff and was offered drinks, I showed them the reference photo and they were on it, all the staff are chill and nice and at one point i had 4 people doing my perm at once it made me feel so special, definetly coming back here for my next perm😋🤩

I was after a place that does Japanese hair straightening and was gonna book somewhere else but after letting them that I had done keratin and bleaching before they didn’t want to take on the risk of damaging my hair more and the result being satisfactory. I came to planet hair and seemed in person consultation and wakana was very honest about the risk I faced to the point of trying to convince me not to go ahead which was very refreshing. Customers obviously mean more than money and that’s very beautiful!!
After 5.5 hours later I can not say how grateful I am that she did the straightening in me live the results already but need to wait and see two more days.. I must say the customer service was amazing from reception to just everyone. I got drinks on arrival, they had a locker and I even got a pillow to cuddle / sit on during the whole day. Really recommend this salon. Wakana was very good and such a lovely person.

Just had my first haircut at Planet Hair. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Wakana cut my hair, she said she has 30 years experience cutting hair (funnily enough she only looked about 30!). Excellent service, I will definitely be returning.

The studio in the city is nicely set up, clean, comfortable and situated in a convenient location. Kosuke and his staff are very skilled, experience and friendly. I've been there for a long time and it's a great salon!

I had my haircut done by Kosuke and I'm very happy with the result. A few friends also complimented that it was a great haircut. It was my first visit and I'll be back, highly recommend it.

I had my hair cut, straightened and treated at Planet Hair last Sunday, and the experience was great. I requested an off-peak time for my appointment, and they arranged it for me. My hairdresser Kai, she was very friendly and patient. There was no rush treatment, and she ensured I felt comfortable with every step. I am pleased with it. Overall, it's a good experience, and I will recommend it.

Amazing!!! The henna product used to colour my hair has left it looking so incredibly healthy, and bouncy, with no greys to be seen. Loved it, looking forward to the next visit.

Been going to Planet Hair ever since i moved to Sydney. Kin at Planet Hair always has done an amazing job with my hair, highly recommend.

I have very sensitive scalp and had had skin troubles every time I did colouring. Kosuke san sincerely explained pros and cons of using 100% henna in detail. I decided to go with 100% henna. It is almost a week after I had it, and my scalp has had no problem at all. I like the shiny / smooth effect it gives to my hair as well.
On a side note, they have many great Japanese magazines with good info / photos. If you can read Japanese, check them out!

One of the very best experiences I’ve ever had. Totally made me feel welcome, and explained every step of what turned out to be a complicated process. my hair feels 100% Berger than when I walked in. I could not more highly recommend this salon. Thank you for looking after my hair, I’ll be back!

The staff were very helpful in answering my questions and the result was gorgeous. I now have to do minimal styling, which is great on busy mornings.

Great experience, I got Digital Perm for my hair. Didn't have to wait long for my turn as as soon as I arrived, Kai already started providing her service. Everyone was really friendly, especially Kai. She listened to what I want and gave me really helpful suggestions. My overall experience was wonderful and I love my new look. Definitely will come back again.

Yesterday went to Planet Hair to get my colour and cut done. Literally 1000% satisfied with the result. Kai did my colouring and cut especially with the hair cut. I never get satisfied with my hair cut. But this time really want to thanks Kai 🫶🏻. She know what I want.
And with the hair colour I just paid the reasonable price and get the result that I wanted. So happy!

I have been visiting this salon since 2010 and am a regular. It’s always a pleasant experience to get my hair done here. The atmosphere is nice and feels relaxing. The stylists are all very professional and experienced and they provide helpful suggestions if you aren’t too sure about what you’re going for. I tend to like dying my hair in vibrant colours and find that not every other hair salons have those colours available.

And Yin is pretty. XP
