Sydney Lyric Theatre

Went to see "Wicked" there. Good place to grab light lunch before the 2pm show. Seating was great and comfortable with room for others to walk past if they needed. Some theatres don't have that luxury. Show was as good as the raves about it. Definitely an entertaining event to attend to.

I went with some friends to see Wicked. The show was amazing! We didn't have the best angle to watch the show as we were on a budget but the theatre facilities were great. Plenty of bathrooms, well maintained. Multiple bar areas to get snacks and such and the staff were really friendly, helpful and sweet.

Beautiful, very fancy theatre inside the Star Casino complex. Nice view from all seats in the thatre, has a beautiful bar area with a stunning view of the city. My only grief for the night was lack of parking - or maybe there was parking in the Star but we just didn't know about it? Had to get street parking further away but max 2h and then worrying about getting a ticket... Best way to get there would be by light rail - that's what we are going to do next time.

Have been here a couple of times to watch musicals / shows. It's a great venue with good views from just about every section on both ground and upper levels.
Watched Wicked the musical on the weekend - it was fantastic. Highly recommend the show at this great venue.

I watched Wicked and it was phenomenal. A very classy, clean large theatre with great acoustics. I was in Row A of the dress circle. Although I couldn't see facial expressions too clearly, I could see every else and really appreciate the overall movement, choreography, set, costumes and lighting.

Fantastic theatre as always with staff that are more than happy to go above and beyond. Wheelchair seating was in a great spot too and nice to not be in the very last row for once.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting the Sydney Lyric Theatre, and I must say, it was an absolutely amazing experience. From the moment I walked in until the second I left, the level of service provided by the staff was truly exceptional, and I cannot fault them in any way.

One particular instance that left a lasting impression was when I had to quickly grab a drink before the show started. The speed at which the staff served me and got me back to my seat with my drink in hand was nothing short of impressive. It added to the overall seamless and enjoyable experience.

I can’t express how much I look forward to returning to the Sydney Lyric Theatre for many more musicals to come. Their commitment to top-notch service and creating a memorable atmosphere has won me over, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a fantastic theater experience.

We watched a lot of shows here like Hamilton. The most recent one was Wicked. I love the sound system, how the stage is near the seats that is also the factor why we usually book stalls here.

Saw "Wicked" last night and it was a mindblasting experience. From the foyer through to the end of the show was magical. The staff in their smart red uniforms were so helpful and the ushers were so pleasant. The show itself was a masterpiece but that's another story🧙🏼👏🏻I've been to theatres in London where I have felt like I should cast my eyes down from the establishment lest I sully their reputation as an entertainment icon. The exact opposite feeling was on offer at the Lyric. I felt I was the one being honoured and appreciated and I felt welcome the whole time, right up to the cheery merch stand folks and the bright happy farewell at the exit. I will never be hesitant to tout this venue as one of the best I've ever been to🤩😘

Easy to get to. Easy process of getting to seating. Staff happy and polite.
My seats were excellent and we had a great view of the stage - ROW G, middle seats. Seems to be though that all seats had a pretty good view.
We saw & Juliet. Wow! AbFab.

We saw Wicked tonight and absolutely loved the performance. The Theatre is in excellent condition, with comfortable seating and a good seating angle, making everyones view reasonable. We were down in the stalls, about 4 rows from the front and the audio sounded fantastic.

Short review / impression: We went to see Wicked (which was excellent), the stagecraft was top-tier and the staff were awesome at accommodating the person with a disability with me.

I'm always a fan of venues that are inclusive and chill, so yeah.. 21 stars out of 10!

Great evening to see "& Juliet", excellent cast , very entertaining show that will put a smile on your face. Comfortable seats, plenty of legroom. I was in back row
of stalls(U) and able to see the stage very well.

Just watched Wicked a the Lyric and it was amazing! Great location as there was parking underneath in the Star. Lots of great food options around and even managed to get some delicious Messina ice cream during intermission.

Saw & Juliet. Awesome production, definitely recommend. 6 stars for the production but only 4 stars for the theater. Theater is huge with 3 levels.. Sound quality excellent. We were up in the top balcony, 3rd level, row D, seat 12 and 13. I'm looking down at the stage, so I would recommend springing for the lower seats either on the floor or the next section up. Overall, it was a great performance.

Always a great experience at the Lyric Theater. There is a bar which sells drinks, chips, popcorn, etc. During the intermission, you can go outside to get an ice cream or bubbletea to indulge on.

Great Theatre to see a production. In our case "Wicked".
The acoustics are on point, while the sound reinforcement is a pleasure to listen too.
Parking on site is perfect. Up the lobby and through the large food courts on ground floor.

The Sydney Lyric Theatre is a very big modern theatre . We attended this theatre to watch Cinderella musical Australia. The staff were attentive and friendly, premises were tidy and clean. Excellent sound. We get to The Star by Light Rail, if you afraid hard to find parking use public transportation is a choice and so easy.
