We did not stay here, we have breakfast followed by wine tasting.
It was a perfect way to start today in Hunter Valley. The Benedict, were fantastic with freshly made hollandaise sauce and sound of bread.
They catered for our two-year-old perfectly we scrambled eggs on toast and the highchair ready when we arrive.
Staff were so friendly and welcome.
When we moved onto the wine tasting part of our day, the staff really knew their stuff and we're happy to give you the time and space to enjoy their fabulous wines.
At two had plenty of room to run around on the lawns.
Fantastic morning and will definitely visit again.

Oh my gosh! This place is amazing. So far I’ve only had my wine and food tasting and various visits to the location to sort out my wedding planning and the coordinator Mel has been an absolute dream. The process of the wedding planning has been so much easier because of her and the lovely and amazing staff at Wandin Estate. So please I beg you if you are considering using this beautiful location as your wedding venue I highly recommended it. The location is gorgeous, the places on site to have your wedding ceremony are endless and the catering is so accommodating. I cannot wait to have my wedding in July and it is all thanks to Mel!

We had our work Christmas breakfast at Wandin Kitchen with 34 staff in attendance. Leona was extremely helpful and accommodating to our every need, nothing was an issue and she was more than happy to assist with our many requests. All of the staff were so friendly. Everyone's meals were perfect and came out to our large group quickly, even with all dietary requirements accounted for. The coffee was also delicious! The location is absolutely perfect with the outlook over the vineyards and to the mountains. We couldn't have asked for a more perfect place to host our end of year celebratory breakfast. Thank you for making this busy time such an ease for us! We will be back again :)

We had a truly exceptional experience with Wandin Valley Estate as the venue for our wedding four weeks ago. It has taken a while to soak in how great our day was and to appreciate the level of hospitality and service we received. Mel, the wedding coordinator, went above and beyond with all aspects of our day, she brought a personal commitment to making the day great which shone through on the day allowing us to enjoy every moment without any worry. There were so many small touches that made our celebration just right - that would not have been possible without Mel's dedication.
The venue itself is stunning with many options for staging the ceremony, reception and any other additional events. The accommodation on site provided functional, yet beautiful areas for our friends and family to stay and enjoy each other's company.
We visited the estate quite a few times in the lead up to our wedding and were always resolved in our choice, by the quality of the food, wine and service.
We could not recommend celebrating any occasion enough at Wandin Estate.

We dined here for a birthday dinner over the weekend and it was an amazing experience.

The food was so fresh and had so much flavour. The staff were so friendly and welcoming.

My lamb was perfectly cooked and the bruschetta I ordered to start with was delicious.

We will definitely be back!

Lunch and wine tasting
We had a lovely wine tasting with Matt, he was patient kind and not in any rush to go through the wines with us. The food was amazing, could do it all again. The staff were outstanding and very caring to ensure we had everything we needed. 10 out of 10 from us !

We found this amazing place via Luxury Escapes and came for a wine tasting and lunch. It was a fantastic, relaxed and very enjoyable. The staff know how to make you feel at ease and the location on the back deck looking out over the surrounding area is great. We enjoyed a three course meal and left unable to fit another thing in! A great afternoon for sure.

We had lunch there and it was absolutely superb. We had dined at numerous places in the Hunter Valley that week and this was the best. The food, view and service was excellent and the prices very reasonable considering how good the food was. Strongly recommend a visit.

We stayed with extended family from overseas for 3 nights in Villa Zara. We did not want to leave. Our experience was beyond our expectations. Leona (the manager) and her team were exceptionally gracious and the accomodation while in need of some minor repairs provided such fantastic ambience no one even cared! The rooms were spacious, well appointed and clean. We had a birthday function one lunchtime for 29 guests. All have commented about the great food and service. I could not recommend Wandin Estate highly enough. Leona, you are a national treasure!

Popped into Wandin for breakfast and a wine tasting on Sunday. Was sooo pleasantly surprised, a hidden gem in the valley! The brekky menu descriptions were pretty standard but OH MY it was so delicious, the mushroom bruschetta was fab.
Then into the cellar door, and the wines were spectacular. There were none I didn't like, but certainly a few I LOVED. Tasting was great, the gent in there knows his stuff and the view off the deck was really beautiful. So glad we visited, will come again.

The estate is gorgeous! So quiet and beautiful with all the wildlife. Accommodation, cellar door and restaurant were all filled with friendly staff. Highly recommended staying here!! Thanks for the best weekend guys!!

This restaurant is the Hunter Valley's best kept secret!! We've dined in approx 20 other HV venues (most 'fine dining') & this is our best experience so far!!! Great vineyard view, warm & highly trained wait staff & superb food. It was clear everyone from the wait staff & the chefs aimed to please. Nothing was too challenging for them.

Wandin was our first stop on the wine tour for us. Was a great place to stop. The person serving us for the tasting was super friendly and had great knowledge about the wines.

Had an exceptional 2 days at Wandin Valley Estate where the staff were friendly and accommodating and the Food at Wandin kitchen was all freshly made on the premises and absolutely deliscious . Felt like I stayed in a little bit of Heaven.

We came in today for a cellar door tasting and OMG. The wine is devine. The location is stunning, views to die for. As for the staff, the male and two females who were there were so welcoming, funny, attentive. The vibe was awesome and these 3 made it for us! It felt like sitting down to great wine with old friends. You need to make this a priority if visiting the Hunter Valley.

We had a wonderful visit to Wandin Estate this past Saturday afternoon and were warmly welcomed by Melinda and all her staff! We had booked in to see the estate as a potential wedding venue after the liquidation of 48 Watt Street, and Melinda so graciously and generously offered a package for us! The venue is gorgeous, the wine Devine and the food (we had to stay for lunch) was to die for! But what really sold it for us, was the staff. Every staff member we met from the manger Melinda, to kitchen and wait staff as well as the cellar door staff, were just beyond amazing. Highly recommend a visit here for a lunch, dinner, wine tasting, weekend getaway or book your wedding here! We’ll be having our wedding there next year and we could not be happier.

We were recently married at Wandin and the team are excellent in particular Mel who is the main weddings/events manager, who will do anything for you. Leona, GM and Matt, Cellar Door Mgr are also awesome and both helped to make sure we were looked after.

The location, the views, the food/wine, accommodation were all amazing. We had a welcome event at the Cellar Door on the first night and then the wedding on the Saturday - all our guests (and us!) had a fantastic weekend.

Superb food (flavours ✌) and service. Meal size is fantastic - guys certainly do not leave hungry. Thank you to Laura and Kate for your table service - outstanding! Sensational cuvée too. A must for locals and visitors.

I came to visit for a tour to see if the location would be good for my wedding. we sat and had lunch and omg absolutely incredible. all the staff were so kind. i’m a picky eater and wandin had no problem with my requests. it is definitely worth the day trip from sydney. i’ll definitely be back and it’s my top choice for my wedding
