Wharf Bar & Restaurant Ballina

What a wonderful experience we had at the Wharf Bar last night .
Although it was raining and miserable weather it certainly didn't dampen our culinary experience.
Delicious food and fantastic service . We were served promptly and what a taste sensation.
My husband had the Snapper served on a bed of herbed rice with a Fennel and radish slaw, pureed spinach and broccolini ....and I had the Lamb shank with herb rice minted yougurt and potato
We shared a chockalate browney with choc icecream and Cherries 🍒.Tt was seriously the best we have ever eaten .
Fantastic drink list . Highly recommend.

Our dinner was amazing, I shared the seafood platter with my friend which was packed and fantastic value for money. They were out of fresh prawns but were super accomodating and offered us extra Moreton Bay bugs as a substitute. Florian looked after our table, he was wonderful, excellent service and a comfortable and romantic atmosphere.

Great dinner for 2. Service was really friendly and Diovola pizza was fantastic. Cocktail tasting paddle was fun and the elderflower spritz was great too. And special mention on the music - great vibe! Only wish we'd arrived a little earlier to enjoy the drinks and view for a couple more hours.

We had a beautiful evening. The atmosphere is wonderful for a dinner with friends or date night. The food was excellent! We had the seafood platter and cocktail paddle and we were so pleased with the portions.

We visited the restaurant on the 20/01, and it was absolutely beautiful there, we sat by the waterfront tall table and enjoyed the view whilst having our seafood platter. The food was amazing and fresh, the vibe at the place was also fantastic.

We were quickly greeted and seated, it did took awhile to cook as the platter was big.
Noting that there is a Saturday holiday 10% surcharge.

Recommend the seafood platter if you are enjoying drinks with mates or family lunch (extra bread recommended) - only 2 pieces that comes with the platter and mild spicy in the mussels, kids would need to be aware if they are dipping the bread in the cooked mussel sauces.

Second night in a row for dinner on a work trip. Customer service was exceptional and consistent both nights. Food was delicious and definitely value for money. Will be coming back.

Fabulous afternoon at the River Wharf Club. Soul'd was a great band, playing lots of great tunes while we danced on the footpath and had a friend's birthday celebration.

Beautiful location right on the Richmond River watching the boats go by on this beautiful sunny spring day.
The food was tasty and plentiful, accompanied by friendly and prompt service.
Also recommending the coffee.
Will visit again if we get the chance.

Food was superb. Delicious pizza garlic bread and whole baby snapper. Lovely outlook and friendly service - definitely recommend!

Omg, I've eaten at some very upmarket restaurants but this restaurant will be one of my favourites! Can not fault anything. Compliments to the chefs, the wait staff & the owners 👏👏👏👏

We were disappointed in the freshness of the seafood. I ordered the daily special of snapper. Not fresh at all. Sad when we live right on the coast in a fishing haven. Service was average. Location great. Prices high.

If you are looking for a special place to celebrate this is it. Luckily for us they are open Monday nights. It is expensive but worth it as the food is lovely. We had prawns, oysters, seafood chowder, seafood linguine, and spiced rum cake. All were well presented and beautifully flavoured. Service was busy so we were left alone instead of a waiter hovering and topping up our wines which is exactly how we like it.
The view is lovely and worth getting there before dark. Venue is wheelchair accessible with parking close by. Possibly dog friendly but your dog would be on the outside of the barrier with tables set up on the other side.

Excellent lunch spot by the Richmond river in Ballina. Great food and awesome customer service.

We were seated at a table overlooking the Richmond River. What a terrific setting which matched the tasty food! The chef prepared meals which were appetizing, delicious, and were enhanced by limiting the amount of salt in the dishes. We'll be back for the Seafood Linguine and 7 Mile Beer Battered Fish and Chips, not to mention the friendly staff.

The food and service at the Wharf is always consistently good. We eat there weekly , sometimes more than once. I'd recommend highly

The food at Wharf Bar and Restaurant Ballina is simply outstanding. The menu features a wide variety of dishes, all of which are made with fresh, locally-sourced ingredients. I had the grilled barramundi, and it was one of the most delicious fish dishes I've ever had. The fish was perfectly cooked, and the accompanying vegetables were perfectly seasoned. The chef takes the time to source the freshest ingredients, and it shows in the taste of the food.

The service at Wharf Bar and Restaurant Ballina is also top-notch. The staff is friendly and attentive, and they always go the extra mile to make sure that you have a great dining experience. For example, when I ordered my fish, the waiter asked me if I wanted it cooked to a specific temperature. I said that I wasn't sure, so he brought me out a piece of raw fish so that I could see for myself. He also offered to recommend a wine pairing for my meal, and he was spot-on with his suggestion.

The atmosphere at Wharf Bar and Restaurant Ballina is also amazing. The restaurant is located right on the river, so you can enjoy stunning views while you dine. The interior of the restaurant is also beautifully decorated, with exposed brick walls and wooden beams. The restaurant has a casual and relaxed atmosphere, but it's also elegant and sophisticated. It's the perfect place to go for a special occasion or a romantic dinner.

From the moment we walk into this place, we feel welcome and special. The staff are so warm and friendly and the atmosphere very relaxed. Even though today we hadn't booked, they found us a table with the best view of the wharf and river. The fish and chips we ordered was beautifully presented with a really nice salad and very tasty dressing. The fish so fresh and delicious with a very good crispy batter and tasty dipping sauce and plenty of chips. We somehow also managed to share the almond cake desert with our coffees, which was served with pear strawberries and icecream. Such a lovely way to end our very enjoyable extended lunch. We're local so will be back and can't wait for 'Soul'd on The Wharf' in June!
