Tenbury Hunter Reserve

Fantastic free camping spot right along side the mighty Murray River with absolutely beautiful views of the sandstone cliffs opposite which change colours as the sun sets. This free camping area also has a proper flushing toilet and is within walking distance to the 24 hour ferry which takes you across to Swan Reach where you'll find a pub, nice little Cafe and a grocery store all within easy walking distance.

Awesome free camping spot on the banks of the River Murray at Swan Reach in South Australia. Hotel on top of the cliffs overlooking the river is within walking distance. Yularu-type experience as the cliffs along the river turn orange at sunset.

We stayed here 4 days and walked to ferry and caught it over to the pub for dinner ,corner store for supplies , and fish n chips @ the cafe

Lots of spots provided from camping,with heaps of fire pits( look out for trees)
Bins,toilet available with take away and pub just across the ferry.

Great location for camping just a short walk and ferry ride into town.

Great spot, clean toilet

Beautiful surrounds, the ferry was handy to go Into town. The pub is just beautiful, the local supermarket was very handy, but we would never have known it was there if it wasn't for us talking to a local while crossing the ferry! The local op shop was amazing helping us with fresh water from their tap.. we had a great weekend fishing and relaxing.

Great free camp with flush toilet and dump point

Fantastic Place to camp on the river. Has flush toilet, dump point with non potable water and rubbish bins. Has lots of wildlife, pelicans.ducks & birdlife. You can walk to the punt to go the town to shop. Has a Fabulous hotel on the hill overlooking the river. The shop by the punt has the best take away food and real coffee. What more could you ask for.

Perfect. Beautiful views, flushing toilet & Rubbish bins.

Great place, toilet clean. The ferry close by is just slightly noisy but all is good overall. The nearby shops and locals are excellent!

Loved it here, so peaceful. Clean toilets, firepits and easy access to river for fishing.

Favourite camping spot. Dog loves it. Just the toilet should have a light for at night but all in good
