Only new in the area so not sure who to go to, but the reviews were pretty good. called up Monday, had a booking Tuesday and it was only a simple thing but they didn't over charge, was done in less than 15 min and I was happy as Larry. Been driving for 6 hours on our way to Fraser and had a wheel bearing collapse, took it appart in a repco car park, only to find the old bearing jammed on the spindle, Joey from K and T came to our aid and a fixed bearing 2 hours later 7 o'clock at night only charged $100

Traveling from Newcastle to Bunderberg when bearings on trailer started to worry me. Saturday morning, one phonecall from a Google search and was told to come in and he would look at it. Couple of hours later and the job was done at a reasonable price considering I was in a spot. Definitely recommend.

On the 1st of April 2015 I was driving from Queensland to Victoria with a large trailer carrying an expensive aircraft when I experienced an engine stoppage in my vehicle. This required an emergency tow into the city of Ballina and I was conveyed to K + T Ballina Mechanical located at 13 Ray O'Neill Crescent Ballina, I did not have a prior appointment and arrived unannounced. I initially spoke to Joey and then to his Father Ken. Even though it was apparent that this was a busy workshop, time was allocated to diagnosing the problem and organising replacement parts and for the repairs to be completed. When it became apparent that the vehicle was not able to be repaired prior to the Easter Holiday break Ken offered to store my vehicle and the aircraft at his property while I caught a commercial flight back to Victoria. When the vehicle was repaired I then caught another flight from Melbourne to Ballina to collect the repaired vehicle,
Ken conveyed me from Ballina to the airport when I left and Joey collected me from the airport when I returned. In addition the vehicle was test driven on several occasion to ensure that the vehicle was ready for the drive to Victoria
It was an absolute pleasure for me to meet these 2 guys who are both genuine and honest. It is expected that I will pass through Ballina again within the next few Months and it is my intention to meet up and say hello.
I would recommend K + T Ballina Mechanical to everyone. Great guys to deal with. Helpful, genuine and honest.
