Bublacowie Military Museum

Just a fantastic place to see both war memorabilia and hear from owner Chris and his volunteers. Chris is just a very genuine friendly gentleman who enjoys preserving information on those who fought.

Such an amazing collection of military memorabilia and ephemora, there are no words to describe the experience. Chris' dedication to his fellow Vets is nothing short of remarkable. Thankyou Chris for preserving this history which is sadly being forgotten.

A big thank you to Dave for the guided tour of the museum and to Chris and Monty for Sharing their amazing collection . One of the best war museums we have seen and such a wonderful dedication to our veterans. If you are down in the Yorke peninsula it is a must see.

We were told that Chris has an amazing Military Museum but we did not expect the amount of things that Chris has there.
Chris gave us a bit of a tour of his personal space as well. Thank you Chris for all that you have done and are still doing. You are a credit to this country and to fellow servicemen everywhere.

This is an outstanding place to visit.

Chris the owner/curator has put it all together piece by piece. It covers several different areas of the Services of the Defence Force.

Once you have seen the exhibits, you can enjoy a coffee or visit the shop and take home a souvenir.

This place teaches you history, and its all there in one place.

This place is incredible. There is something of interest for everyone.

Well worth the visit Chris was so accomadating make sure you have a few hours to look around and then you will have to go back for the things you missed open Sunday Monday and Tuesday

Totally worth the $10, an absolute must see.

Great museum and a great owner

Not often do I select 5 stars but this Military Museum was really something to visit. What Chris (the owner) doesn't know about the military isn't worth knowing.. Be prepared to spend hours seeing all that there is. I really recommend a visit. It might pay to ring first.

Fantastic collection, we have travelled all around Australia (including Canberra) and it's the best collection we have seen. Covers all aspects. Chris is such a knowledgeable man and it was a pleasure to chat over a cuppa.

This place should be listed on a national “must do” list

just spent the most amazing 2hrs at the Bublacowie military museum and memorial well worth the time to go too Chris and Dave are so friendly and full of knowledge well worth the trip and for 10 dollars a head
