The Hills Middle Eastern

I was looking for a great place to have dinner, something quite different from what you can find everywhere, so when I read about "The Hills Middle Eastern", I thought this could be the one. When I checked their menu I quickly realized it was mostly Lebanese, which is recognized as one of the best food not only in the Middle East but in the world
I had fattouch to start with (Freshly sIiced lettuce & capsicum with ripened tomatoes,
cucumber, shallots, radish & crunchy fried Lebanese bread, in a pomegranate & garlic vinalgrette)
And then "The HiIIs Mixed Plate", which is a plate of 3 skewers (grilled lamb, chicken & kafta), served with tabbouleh, falafel, hommus, baba ghanouj (which is finely chopped roasted eggplant, with olive oil, lemon juice, etc) & creamy garlic sauce (house made)
As a drink as I noticed they had nice cocktails but I don't drink alcohol, I asked if they could make me a mocktail, and they did, a passion fruit virgin mojito then
Everything was really tasty, really loved it
It's possible to eat inside, but the terrace is even better in my opinion, great lights at night, and there was a big TV screen playing Lebanese concerts
Staff was welcoming too
You can go alone like I did indeed, but I would see it's a great place to go for a romantic dinner (like I saw some couples) or a nice time in family (like I saw a family celebrating a birthday)

2nd time we’ve been here. Always enough food and great portions - the meat is melt in your mouth, the owner is attentive and nothing is too much trouble. Will definitely be back!

I recently enjoyed a great catch up with friends at the always amazing Hills Middle Eastern restaurant. Fresh, tasty, wholesome food packed full of flavour keeps me coming back for more. Highly recommend the chicken and beef as these were my highlights of the night. The venue is large with both indoor and outdoor seating available and the staff were very attentive and accommodating of our large group. Highly recommend.

I had a fantastic time at The Hills Middle Eastern! The food is sensational: Middle Eastern traditional, full of flavour and executed perfectly. The service is super friendly and nothing is too hard. The dips I thought were especially good and I was so surprised by how tender and juicy the chicken kebabs were! Great for a larger group or function, we enjoyed our meal banquet style and that way we could each try a bit of everything.

Had a great night here recently. We enjoyed their banquet which left no leaf unturned. There was plenty of food to go around and the food was simply delicious.

My favourite would have been their kafta and chicken skewers. It's a must have when you come!

The venue is amazing for smaller groups or even larger groups to suit all occasions. They have indoor and outdoor seating which is great as you can choose what you prefer.

Nawar and the team were very friendly and super efficient even with a larger group. Can't wait to be back

Celebrating another fantastic event held at the hills middle eastern.

I had the pleasure of dining at the gorgeous location situated in hunters hill, and couldn’t have been more impressed.
The setup inside was perfect for large groups. Friendly and attentive staff and some hella great food as always.

The skewer platters we absolutely delicious, super tender and fresh. The massive assortments or dips and bread complimented it perfect.

Cannot wait to get back here.

Visited The Hills Middle Eastern last week and wow!

Hands down, best Middle Eastern food I’ve had in Sydney. Authentic flavours and so delicious.

Shoutout to the amazing staff for being so attentive. Service was on point.

Always great quality food and services. I absolutely love their shish kebab, all their dips and for sure their salads. Their chicken is the best in the business; juicy, tender and packed full of flavour.

Food is always fresh and incredible value. Absolutely worth a visit if you're in the area as you cannot go wrong with every menu item!

The staff are always friendly and the service is bang on.

@thehillsmiddleeastern is an absolute vibe and the perfect place for group events/birthdays/Xmas parties and other celebrations. The food is fresh, tasty and served banquet style because good food is meant to be shared.

I attended Last Thursday as part of a group event and was very pleased by the Food, Ambience and attentive Service.

In regard to the food, my thoughts are below:
1) Mixed Skewers (Lamb, Chicken and Kafta)

Wow these were so tender, moist and absolutely jam packed with flavour. Being a chicken fan, these were my favourite and I’m sure I hit my protein target because I demolished these

2) Falafel, Fried Kibbeh, Cheese Sambousek, Meat Sambousek, Stuffed Vine Leaves, Fried Cauliflower

An absolute stunner mixed plate of goodies and I made sure to try everything. Especially love both Sambousek Varieties and the vine leaves

3) Fattouch Salad, Hummus, Labneh, Garlic Dip

That Fattouch Salad was the perfect blend of garlic, herby, crunchy and fruity goodness. Treat yo self to this one because it’s good for you but really yum. The dips are great too and the perfect accompaniment to the Mezza. I'm from the west so I would’ve liked tiny bit more garlic to come through but everyone has different palettes so I think the Hills have catered for this.

After ordering takeaway from The Hills a few times during lockdown (food travels exceptionally well!), I was so excited to dine in and catch up with friends over an amazing feast last week! I highly recommend the cheese sambousek (my favourite!) + dips and the mixed plate of delicious skewered meats. Without a doubt the best Middle Eastern food in this part of Sydney. Great service and great food - will be back soon.

Always a great experience here. The team never fails to impress with their service. The food has always been on point! Highly recommended if you’re looking for a traditional middle eastern experience in the hills.

The service is great as was the food. A nice place with a chilled vibe. The flavour of the food was intense and refined to the point where you will remember the experience over and above other similar types of places serving Middle Eastern food. They've done enough to distinguish from the rest. Would go back.

The Hills Middle Eastern is a stunning venue located in Hunters Hill serving up the juiciest and freshest Lebanese food I’ve had!

We started with a fattoush salad and a selection of dips and breads. My favourite was the soft Lebanese bread dipped in baba ganoush.

Next came the mezze platter and tabouleh. I am obsessed with the meat and cheese sambousek the filling was so full of flavour and the pastry was so fresh and delicious. The fried kibbeh was also out of this world!

Last we finished with a meat platter that had chicken, lamb and Kofta served with creamy garlic dip. The meat was incredibly juicy and perfectly complimented by the garlic dip.

Nawar and his staff were incredible hosts and I loved the space, especially the alfresco area draped in festoon lighting, great for an event!

I’m looking forward to visiting again!

This place was definitely a vibe, the ambiance and the food was the perfect mix. Food was absolutely delicious especially the chicken, that is a must order. I definitely will be returning to dine here again.

First time trying this restaurant and the food was amazing. For our entrees we had the Baba Ganoush, the Batenjan (Crispy deep fried Eggplant slices), the Grilled Haloumi (with tomato and pomegranate molasses) and the Arnabeet (Lightly Caramelised Cauliflower with Tahini sauce) which was the dish of the night and a Fattouch salad. For mains we shared the Lemon Garlic Chicken, the Laham Meshwie (Lamb Skewers). We shared a Kanefeh for dessert. All the food was delicious and a second visit is absolutely recommended...

Delicious and very tradicional food. Reasonable price and friendly staff. Highly recommended.
