Absolutely authentic Shandong flavors here, definitely worth recommending. The Special eggplant is a must-try, with crispy fried eggplant chunks and a tangy sauce. The Northeast sweet and sour pork is also worth a try. If you're a meat lover, these are all very traditional and tasty options. If you prefer something sweeter, I'd recommend the Braised pork with quail eggs – the pork is tender and melts in your mouth without being greasy. The staff are friendly, and overall, it's worth recommending. The only thing to note is that the portions are not large, so you may need to order a few dishes.

Absolutely delicious. Their ingredients are excellent and fresh. Good cooking brought out the delightful sweet taste of long beans fried with mild, spicy, dry chilli. Pork with chi sum was heavenly and braised pork with pigeon were cooked stew to perfection. A BIG 5 for Homeway Chinese restaurant is like a perfect gem stone among many Asia cooking in Burwood. Highly recommended for good food and cooking.

We came across this restaurant specialised in Shandong cuisine. We ordered four dishes, and were impressed with all of them. The flavour was just right. Every dish has its own character. And the food ingredients are absolutely fresh. The chefs have put a lot passion in their cooking. Will come again for sure!

Amazing, authentic food!! Great flavours and taste. Service was impeccable and definitely value for money. Do give this a go and the chilli chicken is an absolute winner!!

Brilliant little restaurant hidden away in the far end of burwood. Food was extremely flavorful and seasoned to perfection. Spicy stewed chicken gave a hot an spicy kick youre bound to feel again the next day. The lamb soup and fried pork are also must haves to wash away the chilli aftertaste.

Definitely worth a visit, ideally with more than 4 people to enjoy some variety.

The food is very good, otentic taste. The fish soup with fermented chinese pokcoy is amazing. This place is always crowded so be prepared to queue.

This is my third time here since they opened 2 month ago in Burwood. Every time I tried something new but still, way more coming! Now they're introducing some winter seasonal specialities 👌🏻 Wide selection, easy to find, 5 minutes from the train station.

One thing you want to know is THEY GOT LEVEL TWO FOR MORE PRIVATE PERSONAl EXPERIENCE ✌🏻 It's like getting back "home"❤

Such an amazing restaurant! The food is amazing and serving sizes are generous. The eggplant dish is so amazing, I've never had anything like it and still think about it a lot after having eaten it.
Staff is incredibly friendly and will give you their full attention as well as making sure everything in your meal was what you wanted.
The decor and ambience is spot on too.
If you're stuck on which chinese restaurant you want to try in Burwood, definitely go with homeway!

Authentic Henan cuisine! I loved every dish but especially the braised pork which melts in your mouth served with the thinly sliced vegetables and mini steamed buns to create the traditional handburger style.

Some of the dishes were sweet and made with a kind of toffee. Others were a little spicy but not too much.

They don't have a lot of space so it's advisable to bring a small pram that's easy to fold up. They do provide high chairs here.

I would definitely come here again.

Wow wow wow the food here is so good especially loved the cumin spiced lamb and the pork with quail eggs. The service is friendly and the food is fresh and full of flavour a really great Asian restaurant in Burwood

The food is so yum and the owner is very friendly. The price is reasonable and fresh. What really impress me is I accidentally give out $50 note extra when I pay the bill, the owner come to my table and give the note back to me. I think this is a restaurant worth to go.

Had my best Saturday night dinner there yesterday 👌🏻 Quality food, super relaxed environment, wonderful service. What more you want 😆 They make all their food exactly from the place where I'm from. Very hard to find such goodies in Sydney now! Will be back next month for my friends birthday:D
