Chargrill Charlie's Drummoyne

Why we didn't come here sooner, I have no idea! In fact, I have never had Chargrill Charlie's... until now. Better late than never I guess! Ordered the chimmichurri chicken (delicious and full of flavour), wedges, sweet potato wedges, honey mustard roast veggies, and a heap of chicken legs. Pretty much everything was devoured. So yum! The guys here were so helpful to answer our many questions and were patient while we decided what to order for 5 people. Cold water on tap, bathrooms are all good, and photos to do some celeb spotting.

Juicy and tasty charcoal chicken and super crispy chips. The chicken seems to be super sized! Service was friendly and quick. The restaurant is large and clean with lots of indoor and outdoor seating. Conveniently has a handful of parking spots out the front too. Highly recommended.

Everything we have tried At Drummoyne has been great. Last night minestrone as well, beef stroganoff, roast chicken, cauliflower… Too many to name. Generous portions at affordable prices. Makes fish & chip shops look unaffordable!

First time here really loved the food the staff and the atmosphere. Very tasty and fresh food.

The prices are very fair, there is plenty to choose from lots of parking combine to spot.

There is a cafe opened as well. Very nicely decorated and layout.

I will be coming back again and recommend everyone to give them a try.

Great quality chicken and some amazing fresh salads. Cauliflower one is my favourite. Chips are also thin, crunchy, tasty and delicious. Coffee at Charlottes out the front is also great.

We love coming here regularly. Staff are very friendly. Good range of salads and hot meals.
Their facilities always looks very clean and tidy. It invites you in. And my favourite is the water station with sparkling and still chilled water.
Also ample parking is very handy

One of the staff at the counter made a big mistake and I was overcharged. Took ages to rectify, but Brian the manager didn't shirk from responsibility. Was upfront and followed up at every request. Great professionalism and service by him. Turned around a zero rating to a five. The food tastes great.

My go to take away chicken place. Chicken are always fresh and it is always packed when I come here after work for a lazy night. There are a few combo that you can chose from depending your family size and what you are after. It takes me a good 5 minutes picking which salad to go with my chicken as there are so many to choose from.
Staff are nice and always try there best to serve everyone.
There is a car park just in front of the shop and one underneath (which everyone misses).
They have a loyalty card here where you get a discount or $ off when you spend $20 for 10x visit. So ask for the card if they didn't give it to you.

I finally tried this place, every time I was passing by I was wondering how it was.
I’m pleasantly surprised. So many different food to pick from, good prices and generous portions.
Staff and owner very friendly and polite.

Very nice food and nice staff member. I received a fantastic service from Brian and a lovely girl ( sorry didn’t catch her name on the phone). Even though It is me made mistakes when ordering on the chargrill app, but their staff help me solve the problem quickly and professionally. Really satisfied with the experience, definitely going to order more from this store and thank you for everything.

One of the better Chargrill Charlie's around. The burger was good and the sweet potato fries were excellent.
Also had the cauliflower Mac n Cheese which was good and cheesy!

It's good food here but expensive. Let down by staff who just don't seem to want to be there. I have a hearing impediment and the staff get very annoyed that I can't hear them, despite the loud music they play and the noise generally. Not great overall. It's a shame because it could be really good if staff and management just lifted their game.

we came to this restaurant with my brother before, it was very good, the taste of chicken and french fries... we came with my mother today. At first, I said that the chicken should be changed because it was cold, and they took care of it right away. I give 5 stars to the business ... customer satisfaction is very good ... I said extra french fries. the taste was just right. we liked it very much... i would like to come again but i'm so sorry i came from turkey... my parents can come again because they have an Australian visa, but I think I can't come because my visa is for a single entry... thank you for everything 👋👋👋

First time customer and boy, what an amazing experience. The food was exceptional, and the servings were very generous. Large menu to select from with plenty of choices to make. The staff were very polite and their customer service was on point. We went on a night when Knafeh was there so the crowds were large, yet Chargrill Charlie's staff and quality of food couldn't be faulted. You have earnt a customer for many years to come. Great job guys and I highly recommend for anyone to visit this place.

Chicken was moist, juicy and saucy. Mac and cheese made me forget I was lactose (so good!). Rice pud was 👌

Yum yum yum! Chicken that does not disappoint. Price tag that does not break the bank. Delicious roast veggies and the extensive salad options. Chips are yummy!!

Never disappoints! Love their chicken meal combinations. They do a very good mac and cheese, japanese coleslaw salad and fries! They also have a sparkling water station on tap - very reasonably priced food and good quality too!

I’m a regular at Chargrill Charlie’s. They have such a huge variety of food which is always quality. Their portions are huge and the service is excellent.

Summary: I have been back in numerous times. The food has always been consistent and amazing quality, there is a large selection to choose from, and the chicken really is the star of the show.

Food: you can order anything ranging from burgers, rolls, chicken, salads, soups, desserts. Whatever you order will always be generously heaped onto your plate, and fantastic quality for the price you’re paying. My favourite things to order are the chicken with salads, or the rolls. I have never had any issues with the quality and I dine here at least once a fortnight. If you are a vegetarian, you will be able to find food to eat, as there is a huge range of salads and sides that you can choose from, such as roasted, vegetables, Japanese salad, tabouli, fried rice without meat, roasted potatoes, and even sweet potato wedges. May I say, the sweet potato wedges are so very crispy and crunchy. I can also recommend the Banoffee pie and the tiramisu for dessert, they are delicious. I also like to add that the consistency of the food has been perfect – I have never had burnt chicken, or a badly dress salad, or undercooked chips. Nothing is worse than expecting a juicy chicken because you had a because you had that last time, and getting a dried chicken instead. This place would never do that to you - you can expect great consistency.

Pricing: the price is moderate depending on what you’re buying. They give large portions and the food is delicious. The chicken is always juicy.

Atmosphere: depends when you go, but there can be lines at busy periods because the food is so good. When I dine in, I have always been able to find seating even during a busy dinner period. I suspect most people do takeaway and that’s why there is seating available. You can sit inside or outside. The service is timely (it’s as timely as it can be in a busy period) and the staff are very attentive. There’s one really friendly guy that I enjoy seeing when I order.

Parking: there is parking outside the establishment, but sometimes it can be busy and you may not find a spot. I think there is only about six spaces.

This is one of my favourite places to have dinner, and I frequently feel like dining here, which says a lot about the restaurant. It is part of my family‘s rotation for dinner.
