Andiamo Trattoria Abbotsford

We were married here on 23rd Sept 2023. Was held outside. We set up the backdrop and tables with a rustic theme. The menu was the fixed $75 per head for around 40 guests. Food was awesome enjoyed by all. Staff were absolutely wonderful. We had a jukebox delivered and plenty of room to dance..Beautiful night. Highly recommended. Joseph was very helpful in accommodating our needs.

Such an amazing lunch. The food was the best gnocchi I have ever had. Customer service was in point. The restaurant was clean and looked nice. Even though they had group bookings our food came out quickly.
Portion sizes were perfect, I still had a little leftover, but I'm not a huge eater. Thank you for an amazing lunch.

Immaculate service! Beautiful atmosphere! Gorgeous food! Actually my lasagna was the best lasagna, I think I've ever eaten, it was so soft and silky! I wish it was a never ending bowl full! Was also lovely that they have my daughter pictures & colouring pencils on arrival to keep her entertained.

Food was delicious!! The eggplant parmigiana was the highlight for us but the chilli crab linguine came very close too. Service was quick and friendly too

Andiamo restaurant initially started in Summer Hill with its ethos as a place where family and delicious Italian food would bring people together. A recipe that appears to have worked, as they opened their second restaurant in Kensington St Chippendale another in Rhodes and Abbotsford, where we were to visit. The Abbotsford restaurant came about with an opportunity allowing them to move in to and take on a space once occupied by another Italian restaurant. Andiamo's dedication to community and being active in the local area, helping with the transition. This brought in the locals, who have come to love new restaurant, the atmosphere, friendly staff and quality Italian fare.

Andiamo Trattoria Abbotsford is a lively restaurant with many families enjoying a meal together. The staff attentively seeing to orders and the kitchen busily preparing meals in the prep area surrounding the dome shape of the woodfired pizza oven.

Drinks wise, this restaurant goes the extra mile,serving beer with a chilled glass. They also have a quality Italian wine selection on offer.

To start this Italian dining experience, the Arancini was too hard to pass up, a comforting starter and the perfect choice for winter. Knowing the pasta is made on site makes for another easy choice. The pumpkin ravioli, with a butter sage sauce seved Parmesan sauce was the pasta special for the evening, a dish with classic flavour combinations. The truffle gnocchi also a classic. The Gnocchi here is perfectly prepared dumplings served with a rich full flavoured creamy truffle and mushroom sauce, topped with shaved parmesan.

On recommendation we went with the spatchcock. No something we would usually order and were we glad that we did. The juicy spatchcock is heroed and served with a herb rub to rave about. We would recommend the recommendation.

For dessert, we ordered the Zaperetto or fresh Italian doughnuts drizzled with nutella. This dessert will warm your soul on a winter evening. Finish the meal with the nostalgic tiramisu a light fluffy sponge soaked with coffee liquor is always a favourite.

Dedicated to quality, you know what to expect when visiting Andiamo Trattoria. Make sure you keep an eye out for their up coming opera dining series, this will be an experience not to be missed.

Post Covid-19’s birthday celebration. Could not have picked a better venue. The food was superb, service exceptional and prices reasonable. True Italian atmosphere and hospitality. Thanks Luca (Manager) and Ash for making this a special night to remember

Very good place for some quality italian food!

The pizza selection is great and the house special is really nice. Giuseppe is very friendly and the stafd will o everything they can to make you feel at home.

Fantastic dinner experience with my wife. Staff were very friendly and food was great. Also our favourite spot for pizza.

Great Italian steak house with full Italian cuisine, no downtown parking no traffic makes it that much better. Great food, great staff

Nice spot, great atmosphere and really nice authentic Italian food.

Really enjoyed this place. I had dinner with a friend and we ordered the Garlic and cheese pizza to start, it came quickly and delicious. For main I ordered a chicken parmigiana with prosciutto. The portion was big and tasty. I recommend this place.

Absolutely fantastic, we were here for several hours for a babtism celebration. Food was amazing, especially the gnocchi truffle mushroom cream sauce.

Woodfire pizzas where very good quality, crispy and perfect topping ratio. Will be back again next time we are in area. Delicious.

Such a special place with amazing food and service. We’ve celebrated many important life events with family and friends at Andiamo, including our engagement party. The food is wonderful - every time. Everyone we invite for dinner there agrees, and return as loyal customers themselves.

Had my daughters christening lunch here today and It was amazing. Staff were so easy to deal with while organizing the event and on the day. Food was amazing, everyone was raving about how good everything tasted. They packed so much food for us in to-go containers without hesitation. Thank you guys for a great day

Amazing Italian food with excellent service. The ambience is great - outside, inside and in the courtyard! It's one of my go to Italian restaurants in the area. They also have a special menu that is updated on a semi regular basis with delicious options!

EXCELLENT meal - extremely big portion - so great value for money! Set in a fantastic ambience too!! 10 out of 10!!!
