Had a magnificent Mother’s Day lunch here on Sunday. The food was delicious, staff were great and the price was amazing! Highly recommend to anyone in the area, well worth the trip.

What a gem! A lovely place to be with friends on an extremely hot day. The whole team are extremely attentive and friendly and the great food was served very quickly. Lovely atmosphere - will come back to enjoy a glass by the open fire in winter.

Our lunch today…gave us all the feels. So yum. Worth a stop on your way somewhere or absolutely good enough food for a destination trip. Great service. Lovely place. Highly recommended. Thanks for the sweet visit @tinambahotel

Had my Hubby's 50th Birthday there (his choice). Great food, and they were very understanding of my 3 grandchildren (all under 2) as it was an extremely hot day and they were slightly feral. We were able to take them out to the back area to cool off and spend energy. The air-conditioning was great but it didn't reach our corner of the room , but that is the only thing that could be improved, and it wasn't anyone's fault that it was 36°c in the shade.
We all had different dishes, and I heard from everyone that their meal was great, and they enjoyed it.
My husband is a Fine Dining Chef and he really enjoyed the food and the wine selection. He also enjoyed the chats with Simon, who looked after everyone like a pro and made sure Troy's night was awesome (Thanks Simon - much appreciated).
* side note - my daughter is getting married soon and they have wedding offers etc, so it's worth checking out

We had Tinamba cater our wedding last week and can only say the most positive of things. Everyone was raving about the food, especially the lamb which was a huge hit.

Simon and the team were so attentive to our every need and nothing was too much to ask. They bent over backwards to ensure every desire was met!

The communication throughout the whole process was amazing, and they were so easy to work with.

We went to the Tinamba Hotel for the first time for their Valentine's Day degustation. The food was delicious and service was excellent. All staff were highly professional and knowledgeable of the menu and wines they were serving. A wonderful night, thank you Tinamba Hotel!

Tinamba platter is value for money it’s a meal in itself. Service was great very friendly. People would recommend it to anyone around the area. All you locals get behind it.

Can’t comment on accommodation but stopped at the Hotel for lunch today with the family. Menu recently changed apparently and is different to what you can see online

Char-grilled Calamari entree & new mains included Kangaroo loin and also venison with blueberry. We had to try all the above as well as sides of chips and roasted beetroot

We had dinner and it was absolutely fantastic.
For value for money and quality its hard to beat.
Also the staff were very helpful and friendly.

The Tinamba Pub is in the middle of nowhere between Maffra and Sale but well worth a visit Friendly, clean ,great ambience, beautiful food and relaxing .We stayed for 2 hours had an entre of lamb cutlets , mains of duck leg and beef cheecks followed by tirramasu and lemon meringue desserts plus my champaign cocktail and home made herb bread on the house Priced to the higher end of the scale but worth it The lattes were creamy best Ive had A great place to spend a cosy afternnon Dont forget to book

Last night, we celebrated a significant family milestone at the Tinamba Hotel, marking my wife’s aunt’s 70th birthday. From the outset, the evening was marked by warmth and hospitality. Upon arrival, we were courteously greeted and ushered into a waiting area until our entire party arrived. This thoughtful gesture set a welcoming tone for the evening.

Our dining experience commenced flawlessly, with the staff promptly seating us, offering water, and presenting the menus and drinks list. The service throughout the night was attentive and efficient, with orders taken promptly and meals served with little delay. The quality of the food was exceptional; the calamari entrée, accompanied by an Asian salad, was perfectly cooked, and the 500gram scotch fillet steak for the main course was prepared exactly to order. The synchronisation in serving the meals ensured that all guests received their food within minutes of each other, showcasing the staff’s commitment to excellent service.

A highlight of the evening was the birthday celebration, complete with a cake and a heartwarming rendition of ‘Happy Birthday’ by the team of staff members. It was a gesture that truly made the evening special.

However, the evening was not without its minor drawbacks. The ambiance was slightly marred by the temperature, which was on the warmer side, and the fans in operation did not provide sufficient ventilation. Additionally, ongoing water service throughout the evening could have enhanced the dining experience.

Despite these minor issues, the overall experience at the Tinamba Hotel was remarkable. The combination of exquisite food, impeccable service, and a festive atmosphere made for a wonderful evening. It’s clear that the Tinamba Hotel excels in creating memorable moments for special occasions.

I had one of the most amazing meals of my life! The confit trout was probably the best thing I’ve ever eaten. Do yourself a favour and head to Tinamba! I will still be thinking about that meal for months. Just amazing

We had lunch here last Sunday,8 adults and a bull mastiff,food was exceptional as always,young waiters were very accommodating and pleasant.A lovely experience.

Fantastic gourmet long lunch with owner Simon and his team! Excellent local produce and a clear passion throughout the whole team!

Great food and staff. Best place to go out and eat where you don't feel uncomfortable brining kids.

An incredible experience in fine food and service you could not fault .We have a monthly lunch in East Gippsland so far this is a standout

Can't speak for the accommodation but the restaurant is genuinely great. Superbly crafted food using local & seasonal produce while the serveuse on Saturday lunchtime was attentive & informative. Check the menu & if it's to your liking you won't be disappointed.

As an aside, the bar staff kindly served us a schooner on Sunday evening despite it being booked out for a birthday party, the guests ended up inviting us to stay.

Great place in a great friendly town.
