Anaconda Coffs Harbour

David helped me over the phone for an hour on and off sorting out my questions regarding solar panels. They are really busy in this store but this man got it sorted in the end and was patient and polite even though he was run off his feet. Thank you David ❤

Went there to buy a pocket knive and a multitool for traveling.
Got very good consulting from the employee who asked for the exact use/purpose and shared his personal experiences.
He finally even kept me from buying a product I would have bought without him because it would not suit my needs in his experience. I finally bought a small pocket knife, but another than I first intended and am totally happy with the choice.
Prices are competitive and a great choice of products.
I can definitely recommend this place and the service.

Friendly and helpfull staff. Good prices. Massive range of hiking and camping equipment. The Bamboo plates i purchased are a great substitute for plastic, and are biodegradable and recyclable at the end of life cycle.
Recently purchased Hi Tech Vegan walking boots. Really comfortable and unlike leather don't need breaking in.
Also Mountain Design sell their products there, and I purchased my go to backpack, the Escape 40, with the rain cover that doubles as a bag that fits the loaded pack in.
Cygnett 20000 ma solar Power bank chargers are available near the counter, and yes I got one. Also a Hydrapak collapsible 1 litre water bottle which saves space when empty, and don't go beep at airport security.

If it wasn't 3am in the morning and I wasn't eating leftover pizza during a bout of seasonal depression, I'm pretty sure I'd be over yonder at the old Anaconda!

They've got everything short of a demountable house that you can screw into the earth. If I asked the milk maids in here for a half starved goat, they'd pull one out of the nearest sleeping bag and still charge me a fair price despite it being a bloody weird request.

Unfortunately, I had to take a star away because my excessive spending has lead to a third mortgage and a second divorce. Don't worry, the last wife was 1 star anyway.

I still love ya Anaconda, always will.

Helpful staff, huge selection of camping and fishing, good prices. You need to be a member to get the discounts but they sign you up at the cashier.
