I have tried to make enquiries regarding membership. After leaving two messages, with no response, I emailed. Reply came - no apology and rude to boot - so clearly they are not wanting new members. Why do so many 'volunteer-run' not for profits end up becoming cliquey? As someone who lives outside of Sydney, the location of the guild I join is an irrelevance, so I plan to join one in another state. To paraphrase Groucho Marx, I don't wish to join any club that doesn't want me as a member...
