Look for Mel! Best customer service / shopping experience we've had in years! Mel went above and beyond for us. Witchery needs to give her a raise!

As I saw those negative rates, at first I was a little concerned about my experience that I might have when I got there but thank god, I think they have fired all the awful staff, or they have improved their attitude with the customers a lot, that’s wonderful. Love this brand, definitely will come back.

I purchased a pair of earrings on line and requested Burwood store for pick up as my local store did not have stock. Expected a prompt email as I have had in the past, but 24 hours later had not heard from the store at Burwood. Called them. Most unhelpful. I was able to pick the earrings up later in the morning but when I called, they hadnt even started to review the online purchases and this was at 10:30 in the morning. I had to tell the store person that she hadn’t met the 8 hour time frame before she actually did anything about filling my order. I’ll stick to the Balmain store in future thanks.

Like the style of the brand but there is this one sales girl that’s very rude and impatient. She also gossips loudly with her colleagues when there are customers in the store, not very professional.

No greeting or smile, the staff just look at you and carry on. The lady who served me at the counter started chatting to the customer behind me throughout most of the interaction. Quite rude, I'd recommend trying on the sizes in store and purchasing online to avoid the awful customer service. It's the same attitude in the standalone store in Westfield Burwood and the one at Macquarie. There doesn't seem to be any customer service training in place and the staff simply don't care.

Unfriendly returns policy. I’ve recently joined Witchery and used 10% discount promotions to pay for a $180 dress. While I was waiting for the parcel, I received another promotion (buy $150 get $50 off) from Witchery. I then contact customer service if I could get the gap discount for I haven’t received my order. The staff advised me to buy another dress with the new promotion code as they could not give out the difference. So then I purchased another one. Yesterday I received the two same dresses. This morning, I brought the first order to the Burwood store to get refund. But they only provided 2 options, one was I have to bring my husband’s credit card (original payment card) to get refund or they give me a gift card. I don’t want gift card and I told them the second dress I paid for it…

Even the manager could not be able to refund the money to the different card and not even willing to raise a customer solution.

It’s so embarrassing.

In store staff told me the refund has to be the original card. Guess what, even coles and woolies or Kmart can refund to different cards. For better customer experience,
I hope the company should have trained their employees better to give customer precise information; while update their refund policy.

Also a lesson learnt from me, never trust what they said to you, check terms and conditions yourself…

It’s super inconvenient! Really disappointed. I am sorry I have to speak up.

If I could give 0 stars, I would. It would be the most accurate reflection of the service I received; zero. I'm assuming there was a delivery of stock as all 3 Sales Associates were too busy trying on new product to assist the 4+ clients in store. Spent approximately 15 minutes today (12:50PM-1:10PM) without anyone acknowledging the customers. I was going to purchase a skirt however it was damaged, not surprising considering the lack of care from staff. Considering the current retail climate, wouldn't it be in the store's best interest to optimise every customer that walks in? Will continue to buy online as there's literally no benefit coming into a store.

I have also been ignored multiple times in this store, they act like the customer is a nuisance. I do get it, customer service involves meeting the needs of others and not your own, which can be a challenge for most service and retail staff in general these days. Witchery is supposed to be ‘better’, so train your staff to assist customers to purchase your items. Why would I want to pay decent money just to be met with nothing more than disdain by the staff. It’s easier to shop online even though that is so a chore, no attitude to deal with or being stuck in a change room redressing to get your own sizes repeatedly.

Unbelievable. The lady who worked today on Easter Monday at 4PM needs to be performance managed or dare I say - sacked - because she has zero customer service, and is absolutely appalling in terms of respect.
I walked in and browsed with my mum, speaking korean. We pass the ladies at the register and there were no greetings, doesn’t offer to help while mum walks out of the change room to get sizes for herself. We leave the clothes we tried on hung up on the “no” rack outside the change room. Let me admit here that we hung one top over the “no” rack without the hanger. The ladies are now near the change room, chatting. We walk out of the change room and still no greeting, doesn’t check if we needed help. As I walk by - 1m away from them - one of them says, very audibly, “yeah look they just chucked the clothes there!” And nods towards the clothes we had just left. I turned around and saw them go into the change room we had come out of with a look of sheer annoyance. Mum tried two tops on. I tried two blazers that I hung up nicely on the hanger. There was ONE other customer in the store.
Did I make a mess? No. Did I throw it on the floor? No. Did we deserve to be treated like that? No.
I sometimes go out of my way to put clothes back to the display but Is it my JOB to put the clothes back to the display racks for you?

I love Witchery but I will actively avoid the Burwood store and if nothing comes out of this review, I won’t be shopping at Witchery at all.
