Best RV campgrounds that we have been to. Lovely little oasis.
Can see where the $10 per night goes. Well set up, potable water, dog friendly. A real gem 💎

$10 donation per night, must be self contained, does have camp kitchen. Lovely quirky spot.

Broughton Bay RV Park is a beautiful paradise oasis amidst the long roads and unending fields. It is quirky, interesting and gives you that tropical feel. The RV park is $10 donation. The box is inside a eye-catching telephone booth, there is an envelope to write your name, rego, comments and suggestions. They have a $4 for 80ltr potable water for sale. $15 for 15kgs firewood. Refreshing nipa huts surrounds the cemented area next to the camping spots. There is na aviary with birds. A tiki bar with stools and a ship on the background several seating areas adorned with bright flowers. A little bridge that leads to the shed which houses a dining table with chairs, a fridge with a book library, a BBQ with a grill and flat pan and a small stove with free Gas. They also have a wood heater in the shed. No water inside the shed. Across the nipa hit areas there is a.femced dog area, next to an the bins. The camping ground is cleverly lined with rows of small palm plants which serves as a order per vehicle, very ingenious and adds to the tropical feel. The camping spots are on soil.and there are prickly and burs.but manageable. You have to be self contained as there is no toilet, nor showers and electricity. The camp also has several artworks on display on the outpost coming in the camp by a local artist. All in all it is a camp you have got to visit.when you are in Port Broughton. Thank you Broughton Bay RV Park for memorable stay. Hopefully in the future there will be a drop toilet or paid shower in the works! Generators allowed.

Wasn't sure what to expect and this place is an absolute gem. The owners should be really proud of the awesome oasis that they have created here for travellers.
Stopped sat night of the oct long weekend and only 4 other vans here yet room for plenty more.
Dog appreciated the off leash area so she could sniff and stretch in freedom.
Perfect for any zero fuss fully self contained travellers.
Caution re the little itty ants, they are quite friendly so have an ant plan if you don't already :)

Great spot, will definitely go back. Only real negative is the little ants by the millions owners really need to spray to get rid of the little buggers. Especially in dog park area.

Stayed for a night, wish we could have stayed longer, very neat and just a fantastic set up, great kitchen area, will stay bit longer next time with freinds .. ps, ants where a bit much but dont let that put you off 👍

Very nice! Arriving at night, I loved the tropical theme with the colourful lights. Laid back atmosphere and .. there is have a aviary!!

Beautiful stop at Port broughton, the effort that has gone into this park to make a lovely oasis for weary travellers is fantastic.wayne has done all this himself, all the artwork is his and there is a camp kitchen a bar to sit and have a quiet drink and a dog run for your fur babies. For only 10 dollars a night it is well worth it , the effort he has gone to is well worth the money..Awesome place ,will be back. No toilets ,for self contained vehicles only.

A great little stop over just outside Pt Broughton. It has basic facilities so you need to be self contained. It even has a small dog run. Bbq hut & chairs with a s/c heater if needed. Water can be sourced for a top up @ $4 for 80 litres.
Met the boss for a quick chat last night, a nice bloke with some vision.
Forget about the whingers, well done. $10 is a very small fee for what is here.
Highly recommended for a quick stop.

A very pretty spot. A lot of effort has been made to make the a pleasant stay. Particular landscaping makes is quite unique.water $2x2 for 80L.

Great concept well thought & laid out. Has a unique feel about it. Great for our two dogs a separate area pen for them while we set up and pack ready to go. Must see to appreciate the the carter about it. Privately own well done Wayne.

great little park with lots of room. The owner, Wayne has done a great deal of work to give this park a Tiki feel. He also owns the motor mechanic service centre at the back of the park. My van was due the three month warranty service, so they did it on the spot. Very thorough and recified a couple of build faults there and then. Great service and a very reasonable price.

The RV park was $10 per night donation which is used on the park. Good water available at $4 per 80 liters. Need to be self contained. Town has a dump point and public amentites. Pub sill send a bus to the RV park to pick you then return after a nice countery and a few beers. Phone is in the camp kitchen. Just out of town is a dog park which is colocated with an off lead beach South of the park. North of the park is on lead beach which is a bit nicer, but our dog loved the off lead freedom and the water.

Great spot,,the ower ,has gone to a lot of trouble,to provide,a safe,an enjoyable stop over,,10 bucks cheap..
