JJ's Indian Restaurant Kiama

I entered a stranger, a walk in booking with a family of 7 walk ins on a public holiday. I was met with incredible food and intoxicating flavors at a reasonable price. Love my experience as walk ins from Canberra on Australia day! Can say I am so thrilled to be surprised by such an experience after so long and i hope to the hungry family looking for a feed you look a bit closer at this place.
I left excited for my next trip back to kiama knowing the new found trust i have in this place.

Glad we found them tonight, very friendly service and yummy food! We ordered mixed platter for entree - I liked the onion bhaji, then beef masala, butter chicken, turmeric rice and garlic cheese naan. My fave was the beef masala because the meat was tender and the sauce was amazing. I liked how it complimented the rice and naan perfectly. My husband liked everything and he plans to order the goat when we return. I had mango lassi for drinks which for next time I will save for dessert. Thank you guys!☺

To add, the restaurant is very clean and our food came out in no time.

We went to this restaurant a week ago. The restaurant seemed so busy with people dining in and take away. Later we realised why the restaurant was so busy . The food service and ambience were perfect . Every thing was top notch. The staff even asked preference of our spicy level. Its been already a week buy just remembered that i shoul not miss out reviewing such a good restaurant

Lovely restaurant with beautiful food.
Handy location in Kiama.
In converted older home so a bit quaint but the mural on the wall was nice.
Food prices are fair given excellent quality.
Most alcohol was a little dear with limited ranges.
I would definitely go again

Excellent food and ambience, best part is they have halal meat. Good if you book first, bec there are not many similar eateries and on busy days you may find it difficult to get in.
Tandori chicken is a must try.

The food here is gorgeous and authentic, it reminds me of what I ate on my trips to india. The Dahl curry was perfectly spiced and had a great creaminess to it (and it's vegan). The spinach paneer paired well with the rice, but I absolutely loved the kofta with the garlic naan. Quite busy on a Sunday night, so worthwhile booking.

Sensational Indian. Definitely give this restaurant a try. Good service was very busy when we went. So service took a little while but worth the wait

Three separate occasions dining here and excellent every time! Food is better than your usual ‘curry house’ and no after affects the following morning.

Nice tasty meal in a warm cosy atmosphere. I had a very tasty Dahl and Tandoor chicken with a couple of tasty nan bread...washed down with a Kingfisher beer.

Lovely Indian restaurant in the heart of Kiama. Awesome, super tasty food and ambience. I will come every time whenever I visit Kiama. Do visit this restaurant once for the decilious Indian authentic food.

At first, the restaurant looks pretty average from the outside, but let me tell you the food is outstanding.
We had the kale chips (only dish pretty meh 🫤) the Dal Makhani and Malai kofta, with rice and LOTS of naans.
It was delicious, the dis des were rich and flavourful

Had dinner here with my family a few days ago and had a great experience. The service was thoughtful, polite and fast. And the food was delicious! The entre dish with kale was insanely good. Highly recommend.

Delicious food and lovely ambience. Service was quick and staff was very welcoming. We tried pancharatna entree which was very tasty. Garlic naan was one of the best we have eaten so far in NSW. Rose kheer was very rich in flavours. This was our second visit and would definitely go again when we are in Kiama.

As a family of 4 we really enjoyed our experience at JJs Indian. The food was delicious the service friendly and capable for how busy it was both times visited. Lovely staff.

Best indian in the South Coast! Came here for an anniversary dinner and it didn't disappoint. Everything was authentic and flavourful, service was friendly and the restaurant had nice outdoor seating.

Best Indian food I ever had. I have tasted Papadam, Daal Makhni, Paneer Butter Masala, Tandoori Chicken, Pulao, Naan, Mango Lassi and Golap Jamun. Each one of them was mouthwatering. Want to come back again.

Have tried these guys in Wollongong (pretty great).. tried them in Kiama today. Really good experience! The ambience was really nice. The entree’s we were served - Panchratan bhaji and Kale bhaji were absolutely remarkable. Definitely will try the Beetroot Tikki next time. For mains we had Palak Paneer, Paneer Butter Masala and loads of Naans (our fav)!! Just one word — Splendid!
