Fantastic customer service and very welcoming. Upon stepping into the restaurant was greeted with a friendly smile. The specials were introduced to us and they did not disappoint. We ordered the soft shell crab burger and the mixed seafood grill from the specials. As well as the chicken schnitzel. The food was fresh and generous. Great lunch to a beautiful day.

One of the best fish and chips. Chips are very crispy and the fish is very fresh. Nice & friendly staff. If you’re around Kiama I would highly recommend this place.

An awesome place with great atmosphere and food. The food is modern and delicious and very reasonably priced, the staff are welcoming and friendly. Great location and energy, we came here for both dinner and breakfast.

Nice place for a lunch in Kiama with fresh fish.

We were travelling around Kiama, and we decide to stop for lunch. We found this small shop and decided to stop.

We ordered a bunch of dishes, barramundi battered fish and chips, crumbed fish and chips, bucked of prawns and a grilled fish with prawns and hollandaise sauce.

The fish is very fresh, crispy and not oily.

That was the best crumbed fish I had in Australia.

The bucket of prawns had nothing to os special, but was fresh and the sauce was good.

The fish with hollandaise, was a nice surprise. Didn't know what to expect, and the sauce was great, more on the butter side instead of vinegar. That was good to balance with the grilled fish.

Highly recommend, very good food.

I give my highest commendation to the owner manager and the staff before I begin my comment.

My group of 8 adults and 2 young children are on vacation at the nearby town, and decide to have fish and chips dinner for a change.

The menu togatger with prices is written in white on two blackboards at the entry. On the glass of the front are posted with the winning award certificates earned by the business.

This quaint Cafe with clinically white wall is tastefully decorated. Even the tables are covered by replica of newspaper printed with news of yesteryears.

A sweet voice of a young staff greets us, and settles us at a "long" table which has been set up. The owner who seldom comes to Cafe in the evening, makes a special trip to help her staff knowing that a "big" group is coming. This is our first visit to the Cafe, and we feel so welcomed.

Before our orders arrive, we try to get everyone togather for a group photo. With our asking, the staff offers to be our photographer.

We ord3r different items from menu. The food presentation is good, and the seafood is very fresh. Unlike other restaurants / Cafe where the content of the Seafood basket is placed in a stainless steel wire basket, Saltwater Cafe uses small bamboo steamers, just like those use for Chinese Dim Sums.

The staff and the manager come to table several times to make sure everything is alright.

My grand niece has one of her baby tooth fallen off. The staff gives the little girl a bag to hold the tooth, and she plays the Tooth Fairy to give her a generous amount of "tooth fee".

It is a great dining experience - quality food and excellent service!

PS Saltwater Cafe could become the world's first seafood dim sum producer one day.

Great quality food. We had dinner there and the fish and chips is amazing. Great size portions! You definitely get what you pay for.

A fabulous casual cafe! Taverna like inside with more tables outside. We attended for dinner and ordered the Sea Chest platter for 4 people and we were all well satisfied! Very fresh seafood beautifully cooked. Fish lightly crumbed that melts in your mouth, the most tender calamari and fresh salad.
The owner/chef can make to order, especially if you make contact 3-4 days ahead so produce can be sourced, such as lobster, or types of shellfish.
The owner/chef is very friendly with the customers and once he found out it was a birthday celebration, he supplied a mango muffin (freshly made on site daily) 'on the house' with cream and a candle. It made my aunt's 80th have an extra spark! A great small business! Thanks for a great meal and evening!

We ordered the Sea Casket and its great value for money as it’s more than enough for our family of 4 adults & 3 children. The seafood is fresh and deliciously cooked! The atmosphere is good and the service is great! Our family really enjoyed the food:)

The food is wonderful, varied and distinct, and the most beautiful thing about the place is Gulcin, she is very loved. I highly recommend this restaurant

The food is delicious and the staff are super friendly - the chef actually came out to have a chat and to explain the items on their special board to me! We tried barramundi & chips, spinach & feta gozlem, Blue Oscar (the most tasty hollandaise sauce) and my favourite their special Southern fried fish and cajun style potato salad...the best!

Great vibes, super nice staff, specially the Turkish young lady who were serving our table. We were a big group and she took care of us all in a very respectful and friendly way. The food was also delicious, highly recommended!

The seafood was so good and fresh!! All the staffs are kind and friendly with really good service. It was a fantastic lunch!

Lovely atmosphere, cool inside this cafe without being cold on a beautiful sunny day outside. The Saltwater (seafood) Baskets served were well prepared and not overfilled with chips. The staff were polite and did not push us out the door when we finished dining. Will be back again when in the area as this place hit the spot.
