The Veriu has a certain vibrant and friendly charm about it, brimming with positivity for those who stay do so because it offers a certain ambiance which cannot be matched elsewhere.

I’ll most certainly miss the pleasant exchanges each day, all the staff were very friendly and courteous.

The hotel is situated close to both Central and Museum train stations and surrounded by many eateries which proffer a selection of multicultural cuisines.

Highly recommended.

The staff is exceptional! Everyone I spoke with was knowledgeable, helpful and very kind.
The room was fine. I first thought the bed would be too soft but it turned out to be very comfortable. I'd definitely stay here again

Arrived very late due to flight delays. Night manager, so lovely and helpful. Clean rooms, comfy beds and pillows. Coffe pods in room to make fab coffee. Shampoo/conditioner & hand body wash in bathrooms. Quiet hotel. 5 min walk to Trams. I have not had a chance to explore the area just yet. Shame the view is of a multi-storey carpark, but not an issue for us.

Great location and nice clean rooms, modern, everything you could need. Only stayed one night for an event in Sydney, location perfect for most areas of the city - walking distance to CBD, Central, Oxford St, Darling Harbour, Chinatown etc

Customer service upon arrival was amazing, staff were polite and accommodating whilst being clear with all information.

Rooms were very clean and had all amenities provided however there is only one elevator and when it is out of service may prove to be inconvenient. Downstairs lobby was nice but fairly too close to the entrance.

Location wise it is okay but is a fair walk to the heart of Sydney but there are many nearby bars and restaurants to this location.

In terms of value it is probably one of the best you can find if you snatch up a deal.

I had an extremely wonderful experience here. All the staff are very nice, the receptionist is dedicated. I am extremely satisfied and will definitely come back.
Also, receptionist - Kai helped us move our luggage when the elevator broke down. I'm very grateful for that. Thank you for helping me have a great experience here.

Great place to stay, central location and the bed is super comfy. Room is small but spacious. Coffee and tea facilities. Clean and comfortable

As always, an excellent stay at Veriu Central. The staff are really welcoming and the room is spotless, the bed is so comfy!! I arrived at 10.30am expecting to drop my bag and head out, but my room was ready! I could’ve kissed Christina, who checked me in! All the staff are so friendly and the person who checked me out even remembered my name! The hotel is in an excellent location and I would 100% recommend staying here, I always would when I’m in Sydney!

We had the queen deluxe room with a balcony on the 3rd floor. It wasn't big but definitely big enough for us. The bathroom was pretty and had a big shower with a (good quality) hairdryer. Everything was clean (except of a tiny bit of dust on the bathroom window seal).
Our towels got changed three times in four nights (which is for us more than enough).
There was no bad smell in rooms or bathrooms and our air conditioning works perfectly.
I also want to mention that the friendly front of house staff was very friendly and helpful.
We could literally walk everywhere. Absolutely great spot.
I loved our stay and the Veriu hotel. I guess it depends what room you'll get, but the Queen Deluxe room has great price value. Highly recommended.

I met the most wonderful receptionist (Melanie), when i arrived at the hotel early. I was checked into my room around 11 am, thanks to Melanie. The room was clean and the bed was extremely comfortable. The location is great as its just a short stroll from central station, light rail, Hyde Park and many cafes and restaurants.
I really liked the room decor and the bathroom is beautiful!

It’s the perfect place for a solo traveller seeking comfort. The rooms are cosy and the reception is available 24 hours for all your needs. The location is conveniently placed to all the attractions and is near a train station that is a 5 min walk away! Loads of food options as well!

Had an enjoyable stay. The hotel's location is pretty central, with only a couple minutes by foot to Sydney's main attractions. Staff was super nice and helpful.

It was fantastic, and the beds paradise. Not knowing Sydney at all ibfelt at home and safe. Beautiful staff.

At the bottom of Surrey hills just off Elizabeth street, next to Chinatown, this was like finding a diamond in the street, use of breakfast bar and Chinese restaurant, Mr Wu’s with 10% off, incredible.

Quaint and super cute hotel, love the neutral vibe and stylish decor. Incredibly comfortable bed and pillows, tidy and clean room. Front desk reception was amazing through and through, especially Bailey who checked me in, and Darren on night shift who is just about the jolliest person I’ve ever seen at 3am!

I have enjoyed my stay thus far. The hotel is centrally located with excellent amenities nearby. The check in was smooth.

A special thanks go to Melanie, Darren and Gabby who were at reception during my initial arrival. They were friendly, attentive, and very helpful from the offset.

So happy with my recent stay here. I spent one night here after a wedding I had in the city. It's a funky little place with wonderful staff, lovely comfy bed and linen and spotless covid clean. It was such a good price too. The room was lovely and cool with jazz music on as I entered and there were all the standard hotel facilities available. There is affordable weekend parking just across the road and a decent little cafe below. Would highly recommend!!! Will definitely be back.

Had a really good one night stay here. Despite being in the middle of the city on a Saturday night, the rooms were really well soundproofed and more spacious than I expected. Friendly staff, too. A good stay - I'll definitely stay here again and would recommend it.
