The food here is delicious! We absolutely loved the tofu bao buns and the vegetarian fried rice. A high end version of amazing food.

OMG. 1st time here after friends recommend and wasn't disappointed. From entering until exiting we were made so welcome, and the cocktail and food we had was absolutely beautiful and delicious.

We enjoyed a delicious meal of small plates. The seared tuna and Japanese style eggplant were superb. Great service and drinks topped it off. Thanks for a wonderful dinner!

I don’t often write reviews, however Gather. By The Hill deserves a great one. We sat here for dinner last Sat night for my mother's birthday. The food was yummy! We couldn't decide what we wanted from the menu so we ordered several dishes (King Prawn Toast, Karaage Chicken Bites, Salt & Pepper Squid, Steamed Pork Dumplings, Pork Belly Bao Buns, Butter Chicken, Samurai Fried Chicken Burger, bowl chips & Kids Chicken nuggets) and shared between all 5 of us. All of us could not fault any of the dishes as they were all absolutely delicious! I was a little concerned bringing my 2 year old along as she can be a handful, however the staff there were absolutely lovely and interacted with my 2 year old and my teenage son. Service there was fantastic, it made my night at ease and my mother who is from interstate loved the place! Thank you for the wonderful food and service!

Haven’t been to Gather for a little while but decided on something a bit different for our date night.
The food was ALL taste! Lots of flavours, generous in size and quick to the table. Will be making it our go to place on Thursday nights now. Only thing missing was Pina Colada’s on the Cocktail Menu.

It was very cute set up, very calm and cool atmosphere. Wasn’t busy and didn’t over fill the venue. Food was delicious and very quick. The complementary drinks was great. Would 110% do another event hear again

A really affordable meal with the Thursday $1 dumpling special and happy hour. The food was excellent for the price, and the restaurant atmosphere was great. Well be back!

We were recommended to come here by another of the local restaurants…. This place is an absolute win - excellent food, fabulous atmosphere and great service! We loved all the dishes we got with lots of options and a wonderful community of coming together with sharing style Asian food. I haven’t enjoyed a meal in terms of giving us the whole package (service, flavours, atmosphere) like this in a while! Also excellent cocktails!

Gather never disappoints, my partner and I had a lovely evening last Saturday. The food was delicious and the service excellent as always. We will be back.

Easy process, we turned up early no problem, our guests turned up late, no problem. The staff was fantastic, very accomodating and they knew the menu back to front. Did I mention the food was amazing, views lovely. It would be fair to say we had a great experience.

Thankfully, we had made a booking for what was a particularly popular and busy night. Visiting on a Thursday allowed us to take advantage of the $1.00 dumplings and $7.00 quality house wine specials. We really appreciated staff moving us to a quieter spot, away from the direct flow of the air conditioning. Although we thoroughly enjoyed the quality and quantity of the two small and one large share plates, there is a suggestion we could make regarding organisation. Staff members were pleasant and polite, but could work more efficiently and effectively if each person was responsible for a specific area rather than trying to cover the whole area. This might prevent the need for checks on orders, requests forgotten, and anything being overlooked. Overall, we enjoyed the evening, and we particularly liked the salt and pepper squid and tamarind chicken.

My wife and I enjoyed the food The wine and the polite and enthusiastic service, also the fact we could talk to each other without being drowned out with noise. We noticed they have made a wise investment in improving the acoustic's well done.

We were a party of 6 and thought the food was great. Our waitress was very accommodating as we had a vegetarian and a dairy free guest. She made some great suggestions. We also ate at their sister restaurant The Hill for lunch. Both venues are great and have very friendly staff. Would highly recommend both. The Hill for lunch and Gather by the Hill for dinner.

Attended a wedding here on 28th October. Delicious food and the waitress Sarah took great care of us. Thanks Sarah and team!

I recently went to the Bottomless Brunch with a large group on a Sunday afternoon and it was fantastic. The food was a set menu and it was all delicious and we didn't need to worry about what to order, the food just kept coming as we sat and chatted and drank. The drinks that were included were Rose, Champagne and a lovely pink lady spritzer cocktail, these just kept getting re-filled throughout the afternoon. There was live music and the service was spot on. We will be back!

Gather by the Hill is an absolute gem. My family, friends and I have enjoyed family birthday dinners, drinks with the girls, date nights and special events at our new favourite venue. The staff have been faultless on every occasion and the food and drinks are always exceptional. We have particularly enjoyed the $1 dumplings & amazing half price cocktails (on Thursday nights) and the bottomless brunch was absolutely beautiful. We can’t wait for the next one.
