Carinya Cottage Gerringong 90 mins Sth of Sydney

This spacious cottage is so close to the beach, and just perfect for larger groups, and extra guest. The perfect close getaway from Sydney, we were there in less than an hour and a half. My older boys took friends down and had their own spaces, and privacy, and there was still room for the younger kids and entertaining with the massive big garden, and fabulous bbq area. The cottage is beautiful, but also rustic and well appointed with everything you need to completely relax. I cannot recommend it enough. Can't wait to get back there

This space is perfect for a few families or a group travelling together.
There are plenty of bedrooms and 2 separate living rooms if you want to have your space.
The proximity to the beach is an easy walk and just up the road are the funky Gerringong shops and gourmet cafes and restaurants. Carinya Cottage is perfectly located between both beach and cafes.
There are all the facilities if you want to cook or BBQ just like a serviced apartment.
About 20 mins away is the fabulous Jambaroo Water slide park which our kids absolutely loved.
For a South Coast getaway near Seven Mile Beach that is affordable, fun and accessible you can't beat it!

This spaciously, charming cottage has all the comforts of home away from home.
After a stressful past few weeks of city life & hospital visits, we needed to break away from the rat race, fast paced life we're use to. Carinya cottage definitely didn't disappoint, we enjoyed the spoils of the country side, beaches & an ideal r&r retreat after a day of exploring with great fishing spots nearby.
Looking forward to seeing the vineyards on our next stay Carinya!!

Stayed recently & loved it! The house is large and has great atmosphere! Kids had their space & so did the adults. Weather not too bad but that wasn't the owner's fault. Our group will be back asap for another great weekend away! Owner was lovely to deal with! ☺😊

Fantastic huge place for a relaxing getaway. Plenty of room for a stack of friends and a great location. Loved the BBQ and Outside area.

I have been visiting Carinya for more than 10 years and it gets better every time. Terrific accommodation at a reasonable price. Well appointed for holidays. Access and facilities for the disabled and cooking up a storm within minutes of arrival. I recently stayed again and we had a terrific weekend.

Big house, enough space for 2 families. Facilities for disabled people. Short walk to Werri Beach. Friendly customer service.

Okay place went here with a group, it can get cold in the morning.

Has good disability access. We had to fix the vacuum cleaner and give the place a good once over. The house has no insulation, so prepare for extremes. At least one room is an over large closet under the stairs (small double bed and not much more)

Where do i start? House obviously isn't being maintained and smelt old, musty and dusty. Large upstairs room smelt of urine. Kitchen cupboards looked like they had been stocked from the op shop and the oven and microwave had years of filthy grease inside and out, crockery and everything in the kitchen was dirty. Cleaner needs to be sacked. Bad TV reception. Could write so much more. Would not recommend.

I stayed here for two nights with another two couples and their 3 children. The house had some water damage from previous rains so a room had carpet taken up and was being aired. The whole house smelt damp and musty. Though we paid a $120 cleaning fee the house was not clean. The microwave, oven, toaster, crockery and kitchen itself were all dirty as was the vanity in one of the bathrooms. Blankets in the cupboards and the rooms all smelt musty. A tshirt and underwear had been left under the bed from previous holidaymakers. The bed linen didn't fit the beds and neither TV could get reception though we tried many times to fix. Overall a very disappointing stay due to the damp on lounges and cushions and lack of cleanliness. I would not recommend this house to prospective tenants
