Australia Post - Daylesford LPO

Have always found the manager Luke, very helpfull and he always remembers my name.
Which is amazing considering the amount of people he has to deal with.

Dunno what the negative reviews are on about. It's a friendly, competent LPO.

The staff here have always been helpful, courteous and with fast service. No complaints from my end. Have been using this post office for the last four years.

We use this post office on a very regular basis. Like all small business they have their challenges. However on the whole we find the experience a positive one. Can we try not to personalize the future comments with racist and other derogatory terms when referring to the team at the Post office.

It's the only place to buy stamps.

Has SIM cards! Conveniently located and helpful customer service.

I had a parcel that I was tracking via the AP app. It sat at Daylesford (sorting not PO) from 9/12 until today 20/12 when it was delivered. It was supposed to have been delivered at the latest last Monday. Then the app said it was delayed then updated then had the nerve to say it was on time! I tried ringing Daylesford PO several times and no one answered. I also tried the parcel post number and it was automated and no better than the app. I visited the PO yesterday and the manager checked the parcel online and said it was not at the PO and that I would have to ring parcel post and he gave me the number. He was abrupt and dismissive. Surprise surprise it turned up at my new address today. The postal lady said the parcel had to have been at Daylesford two days ago to arrive here today. It had to pass through the Daylesford PO because I had a mail redirect. Being honest and friendly is not a difficult thing.

Large blonde girl who works rhe counter is the rudest human you'll ever interact with. Total disgrace of a post office , she gave me the wrong information about q post bag, watche write on it and then after said it wasn't a standard size and triple charged even when It was her fault.

I’m glad to read that I’m not alone with my feelings on the terrible service from this LPO. The owner of the franchise is the most unfriendly and abrupt, but this obviously filters down to the other staff. He makes everything so difficult and doesn’t seem to be fully across Aust Post services. It can be an uncomfortable experience.

I didn’t have a good experience using this LPO even measured by the low Austpost standard.
Parcel Collect is meant to be kept in the post office for a month time. But these guys refused to keep them after 2 weeks, they said it would be returned if I didn’t pick it up even though the notification I received from Austpost clearly stated that I had 2 more weeks until the deadline.
The staff there pretended they didn’t know this rule and when I showed them the email Austpost sent me with the deadline on it, they still didn’t honour it.
Talked to staff from other Austpost which they are all aware how Parcel Collect operates.
Avoid this post office if you can.

Was planing on using this post office to have stuff sent from home while on a road holiday from the NT. After reading the reviews I wouldn’t dare sounds like this place should be shut down by Australia post or sold new new owners that will actually help there customers rather than be totally incompetent. Avoiding 👌
