Nice little hidden gem. The kids loved the experience. Real miniature stem trains. They make all the noises as the larger ones. So cool how they feed the coal to the engine. It's only open every 3rd Saturday of the month. They have old school tea and coffee and small cake pieces. You can take your own food and have a picnic. I enjoyed it and I'm not a train type of nerd 🤓

You would have to be a very miserable person to give this place less than five stars. Great organization run by passionate volunteers. Thank you for making my 3 year old son so happy. The only issue we had was trying to take him home, he didn’t want to leave. Anyone giving this place less than five stars…… do you also hate Santa?

Loved this place. This place is a wonderland for a train lover. I went there with my toddler. He was super excited. Everything is so maintained right from tracks, ticket, ride, restroom and small tea/coffee counter. The ladies at the counter were very nice and friendly. It's a nice place to spend some time if you like trains. We booked online but that was only the entry ticket. When we arrived inside we got to know ride tickets are sold separately, we purchased it inside at the ticket counter. But you can buy it online as well. I really enjoyed this unique experience.

Lovely little gem in Ryde. This was my second visit and I'll be back again with my toddler for more rides later in the year. The volunteers are so passionate about steam locos and the rides are absolute fun for the kids. A great way to spend an arvo and get your little humans excited about trains.

Out of the world experience watching and riding mini steam trains. Perfect place to hangout on lazy weekends. Kids love this place, idle for quick picnic, place is well kept. This place is only open once a month on third Saturday so mark your calendars!

Wow. What an experience.
Awesome morning out. The kids loved it (as did Mum and Dad). They have areas you can reserve for birthdays or functions as well.
One word of warning. Just watch out if you are wearing a nice jacket. My kids noticed a black spot on the front of my shirt. On closer observation I noticed it was a small speck of ash that had burnt through.

Great place to visit! Not sure about having a picnic because of the train's steam (yes, they are REAL steam trains), but having rides - kid been happy!

Super fun! Prices just went up in August 2018 though: $4 adult entry $3 for children and tickets $2 each now (all prices double from previous prices). Still worth going. Lines at peak times (2pm to 3:30pm) can be 30 minutes or more.

Just been for a visit on Saturday 8th May 2021, what a great club, and brilliant track and layout. These members should be extremely proud of what they have built, and considering they have been nthere since 1948, this park is absolutely brilliant! I will be going back to volunteer my services and hopefully join their lovely club!! Fantastic spot for Sydney.

This was such a fun day out for our 3 year old. Such a wholesome community feel, and the gentlemen running it are so friendly and welcoming.

Best to buy tickets early, but also great for an afternoon out, to take a picnic and enjoy the grassed areas.

Perfect for kids!

What an amazing experience for the little ones.. My kid is big into Thomas so trains are a fascination and sitting on the trains here is super fun for him (and his parents too).

They open only once in a month. A bunch of older gentlemen managing it all, pleasure to interact. $6 entry fee per adult and $2.5 per ride for everyone (we get a pack of 12 rides to start and then top-up if we want to do more).

Totally worth it! Must try.

Great little outing for little kids. Train rides are fun and steam trains are cool! Great educational experience for kids particularly in this digital age.

Great family 👪 day, $4 entry fee and $2 per ride. Gets busy.

2022 - reopened after Covid, great day as always. Love how knowledgeable and friendly the crew there. Currently need to pre book your tickets.

Our 3 year old loved it - the line to get in was long but given we only spent 1 hr there, next time we'll aim to arrive after 2:30.

Great place for family to spend the afternoon. Can get crowded with some queuing for rides. Mini train well detailed. My hat off to the staffs and volunteers that runs and maintain the place.

We found this place only today. As a local in the area, it's still surprising that we have this classic charm in neighbours ! The tickets for entrance could be purchased online at the gate through the website, and the riding tickets are sold separately inside :) - still very cheap and affordable ..! The service was great, the miniatured locomotives were designed very well in-detail, operated with the real coals and water, steaming out chu-chu ❤💙 so I really loved this place ! All staff are very friendly and warm, especially all the grandmothers and grandfathers staff 😊 Things are in old ways which make it more charming and appreciated :) the riding tickets and cafeteria is also very cheap, just like in old days 🩷 it was like a special little amusement park - full of excitement & laughter & smile on everyone's face in the place.
