Borruso's Crows Nest

Had dinner here and it was great, flavours are typical Australian Italian fare (as opposed to Italian Italian, similar comparison to Aussie Chinese vs Chinese Chinese)

Portion size is generous and vegan menu was extensive (I did not have any but seemed pretty impressive)

Stand out was the dessert menu which was extensive and I would have gladly eaten every single one.

Prices were good value so definately worth coming back again!!

Incredible Italian restaurant with tasty pizzas, pastas, entrees, desserts and wine selection. They have an entirely separate vegan menu, and offer gluten free bases. Have been many times, and every time it’s always such a delightful experience.

Best Italian in Crows Nest and probably one of the best Italian places I've been to in awhile (and I eat a lot of Italian). The service is warm and professional, the chef's are really great to watch. The wines and cocktails are well priced and they are generous pours. The baked Halloumi was my favourite entree, the garlic prawns were really nice, but the combination of Halloumi cheese and bread was a winner. The four cheese pizza (Quattro fromaggi) was my favourite pizza and when paired with the vegan tandoori cauliflower (we changed the vegan cheese to regular), it was a great match. Will definitely come back to Borruso's.

We celebrated our end of season soccer party for the U9 team - everything was perfect. Great staff that accommodated our large group without any fuss, it was a great venue and pizzas were tasty with delicious and good quality toppings.
We will go back again for sure.

Beautiful food. So yummy and filling and well presented. The service was top notch too. Our server Richard was friendly, efficient and was able to remember an entire tables order without a hitch. Definitely recommend 👌

Had a great night! The vibe was awesome. The food was delicious. Only 1 wait staff early on (so slower to clear tables - but understandable), then when the 2nd person came on shift it was smoother for them. Haloumi was amazing! And the peri peri prawns were fantastic!!

The pizza was really good , we loved the dessert "banana flame" and the waiter (Suman) was so nice to us !!

We’ve always been fans of Borruso’s because of their amazing vegetarian/vegan options to complement the traditional Italian menu. And when we turned up tonight to celebrate our girl’s 13th, the team continued its winning streak! While the food was awesome, the team that kept doing all the running around for us was what made it the most wonderful evening we could expect. Suman, Sophie, Cristal and Keira - you made our evening absolutely magical. Thank you!

Loved this restaurant in Crows nest! One of the best Italian restaurants in Sydney. The service was fantastic, very different from most restaurants in the area. We ordered bruschetta as starter and each of us had a pasta as main dishes. Both of them were delicious, cooked in the right way and the sauces creammy enough! Will return for sure!

At Borruso’s, you can expect beautiful, homestyle Italian fare coupled with friendly, smiling service. I wholeheartedly support this local business and recommend that you visit them not only for their fabulous food but also to support their socially conscious culture, which adds $1 to every single bill to support the Eniwe Children’s Fund in Southern Africa. And, when you do visit, I’d highly recommend the garlic prawns and the apple and berry crumble for dessert!

We ordered Spanish prawn pizza and Marinara fettuccine. The pizza was so crispy and the fettucinne was so chewy. It was too busy with the online order and waiting time was a bit long

Perfect meal tonight. Focaccia with feta was cooked to perfection. Fettucine marinara full of flavour and washed down with a Little Creatures Pale Ale. Hit the spot.

Great food and a very good range to choose from. Great drinks list too. Excellent service and decent prices. Good atmosphere.

Our go to Friday pizza place. Quality of food is both exceptional and consistent. Ingredients are fresh and the pizza is cooked well. In addition, the staff are always attentive, fast and polite.

Love their pasta ☺ just the delivery company is a bit slow, it take almost an hour to receive the order, but the delivery guy is nice just he don’t have bike but only walk, so maybe the reason it’s slow.

Very decent pizza for reasonable price.
Drinks reasonably priced too.
Atmosphere could be slightly improved.

The peri-peri chicken pizza was phenomenal. The sauce, crust and topping all blended together. The lasagne was great. Very friendly staff, with exceptional service. They apologised about the wait for the lasagna as they burnt it and remade it. The fact they would tell us made us feel assured. Would come here again 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
