The Fox Trot is a true local treasure, blending a cozy ambience with exceptional cocktails crafted by the talented James and his team. Their mixology skills ensure every drink is a masterpiece and the service is mint. The warm and inviting atmosphere makes it perfect for any occasion, setting it apart as a standout spot.

The Foxtrot was a great find! It's dark and cavernous, which is kinda moody. The charismatic server let us know some history of the building, including that it was a brothel in a previous life. Food was good quality but a bit expensive. We had the weekly special - deliciously charred and rare. I would recommend this place for couples eluding the main drag, or small groups for event hire. The spaces look great.

We went to The Foxtrot for my wife's birthday and everything worked perfectly. James has reserved us a nice private area and was great during the planning and on the day.
We couldn't ask for more, the food was really delicious and everyone loved it, the service was excellent and the atmosphere nice, cozy and interesting, much better than all the other more anonymous places in the area. We would definitely go back for dinner or for a nice drink near the fire!

This cocktail bar is definitely worth a visit. Great atmosphere, great music, and knowledgeable staff. Dirty martini amazing and Bloody Mary out of this world!

Bravo James & Lauren...the perfect team have created the best restaurant/bar in Crows Nest...hands down. They have their own veggie garden out the back and Lauren's focaccia is to die for and try any of the steaks as they are the best that you will find in Crows Nest. The food not only tastes good but looks good!
Forget about the other much overpriced and overhyped 'fine' diners in the area.

The Foxtrot has a CBD vibe but is luckily walking distance from home and is the place to be in the Lower North Shore.

Had the best experience here. From the food (which was the roll and chips) to the service and drinks, everything was just fantastic. An absolute vibe - highly recommend!

The best customer service I have received at a bar. As soon as we got there, the door man was very friendly and polite. We came in an hour and a half earlier then our reservation time and they were very accommodating. We were immediately greeted by a gentleman in a white shirt that seated us by the door. Eventually we were moved to a table upstairs as soon as one was available. The server we had knew the menu in and out and had lots of great recommendations. We typically have one drink and then head to the next place but because of the great customer service we have received, we stayed until they closed. Impressed with the team here and would highly recommend! We would definitely return. Thank you for a great night!

I organised a school reunion for 30 people at The Foxtrot last night. It was such a perfect night. Everyone enjoyed themselves so much and commented on how great the venue was. Staff at the bar and wait staff were super friendly. James the owner was so great to deal with, he was very welcoming and really cares about everyone having a great time. Such a great vibe in this place. I always love coming here!!! PS James, I loved the music at the end of the night when the wedding party came in! So much fun.

Friendly staff in a kinda tucked away place. Very friendly and trendy! Great cocktails and they do the fancy clear ice too!

Edit: came back and James the owner remembered me; was given the fullest attention! Beers selection is good and will definitely try the steak next time.

Seriously one of best bars in Sydney. The cocktails are delicious. The ambiance was exciting and the staff welcoming, would highly recommend.

Innovative modern menu and impressive drinks list (including some off list options). Really nice to have the light airy upstairs and moody downstairs offering a different feel depending on what you want from the evening. Friendly and attentive staff

Absolutely loved the food here. The duck pate and migoreng chicken wings were divine. Great staff and service. Keen to come back and try out more items on the menu as I'm sure everything is delicious as.

Wow. What a surprise. The welcome and the service from the foxtrot is second to none. The owner works the floor beautifully, pays attention to detail but does not intrude.

The Foxtrot is the place to be in Crows Nest. Great atmosphere, all staff is super friendly and attentive. There is a good choice of food – from nibbles to something more substantial and everything we tried was amazing. Plenty of drinks to choose from too. Cocktails are hands down the best in Crows Nest. Highly recommended!

The unassuming entrance opens up to a pretty lowkey and chill space. Atmosphere tends towards the dark and intimate, with the music not-too-loud-to-drown-out conversation.
Bar is partitioned into three sections, the bar deck, the seating section and an upstairs balcony area.
The bar staff are polite and very friendly. Cocktails are pretty good - honourable mention to the Strawberry Sunset, but the highlight was the WTF, which was refreshing and spicy. ^_^
Prices are probably a smidge on the up side, but in line with CBD cocktail bars.
P.S. try their homebrewed Ginger Beer!

While I'm usually a regular at The Foxtrot for drinks, a recent dinner experience left me utterly impressed. The food was nothing short of phenomenal, with one of the finest steaks I've had the pleasure of savouring in Sydney. To top it off, their Negroni stands as one of the city's best. The Foxtrot continues to deliver exceptional culinary and mixological experiences, making it an essential stop for those seeking both gastronomic and libationary delights.

James was so hospitable! He mentioned that in the 6 years he’s owned the place he’s had 35 people couples with two kids come back and tell him they had their first date here. The food is amazing and the cocktails are to die for. Definitely recommend! 100% book for dinner but walk ins for drinks after 11 always welcome :)

Great spot at Crows Nest- open fire and superb duck. Great music as well.
Moving north side- this will be a regular haunt.

James takes this place like he really owns it. Authentic passion, attentive services and tacit surprises are all included from our experience. And as a crowie local, would defs foxtrot my way back for a few when emotions are enriching, happiness is prospecting or anxiety is approaching.
Love these kinds local bars, making crowie such an attractive suburb in Syd!
