Fabulous location with great views and amazing food!! Love the fact that you can always find a healthy option. My favourite dishes are the green bowl and the kale salad, both extremely tasty and fresh! This venue does get busy (but busy means happy returning customers, I think) and you might need to wait a bit until your food is served. But it is worth it! Next door you can also hire kayaks and paddle boards, or you can go for a swim in the pool. Great experience!

My mother & I were lucky enough to experience the new summer dinner service. Food was beautiful, both raw dishes & cooked. The staff were super caring & attentive. Great selection of drinks, as the sun went down they got busier which was a beautiful time of day & they had a solo artist singing live which was a nice touch too. Thanks again boathouse team & well done!

Good place for break fast. I really liked the avocado on toast. I miss the old pea fritters wish they will bring back that menu. Place is 10/10 for the location. I had couple of items on the menu and my favourite is salmon and boathouse salad, pea fritters, dory burger. And my all time favourite bacon and egg roll 😋

Very nice food and cocktails, whilst it is a little bit pricey and your also hit with a Sunday surcharge. The food, drinks and views are still worth it. Wish they were open past 4pm in Summer.

I am eternally a patriot, hence I managed to find myself at The Boathouse amongst my endless globe-trotting. The location, resting peacefully on the Esplanade, is nothing short of breathtaking. But let's not let aesthetic views distract us from the pressing matter of gastronomy. As we always do, my entourage and I made it our first stop, shaking off a bit of those international travel bugs. The overall experience was as delightful as taking a sip of cold water after an Outback escapade – much needed, but costly for what it is. The menu offers a brilliant balance between contemporary plates and typical Aussie portions - a heady melody for your taste buds, yet with a price tag that can only be justified by Wall Street bigwigs or in our case, travel-happy reviewers from Down Under, who don't mind splashing out a bit for a memorable experience. Despite the dent in my pocket, it didn't sway the Aussie spirit in me which is why The Boathouse still gets a 4-star salute. As many like to say in the good old US, 'It's pricy, but dang it’s good'!

I ❤ this place! Very relaxed atmosphere (not as „fancy“ as you might expect it in Mosman ☺), great food (everything we tried so far is just delicious) and extremely friendly service (very young and motivated crew).

When I went they were suuuper busy but I still got my food in a good time. I thought it was really yummy. A bit pricey but hey that's what I'd expect at a joint like this.

Wonderful venue, great atmosphere, location and the staff were super friendly and made for a most enjoyable and special lunch. Lots of table options inside and out. Any over indulgences can be walked off on the beach. Prices are high, but to be expected in such a splendid location where the average house prices are probably over $10M. Hope to try their breakfast menu and a happy-hour cocktail on future visits.

This place is my new favourite place! The atmosphere is amazing. Awesome view and great service. The food quality is so good 👍 Having your Saturday breakfast here is going to make your weekend. We shared an average toast with tomatoes with some extra. I ordered a tea pot 🍵 no tea bags just a real quality tea. Amazing!

A lovely and popular place at Balmoral Beach, perfect for coffee, brunch, lunch or a snack. The decor and setting makes you feel like you’re in holiday at a peaceful seaside resort, with views over the inlet and pier. We enjoyed our fish and chips and burger, combined with juices (not made on-site but branded as “fresh”) and great coffee. This is a highly sought-after place, so be prepared to come either a bit early to secure your place, or expect a wait to be seated. Wonderful place.

Best atmosphere and location. Great to meet friends. Weekday mornings are usually OK to arrive without a booking but other times I would check. Staff and food always brilliant

2017 love this place. Best flathead and chips in town. Watch the seagulls

Great food. Nice view from inside and outside seating. Could be a little noisy with the crowd talking and having music also going. Would recommend for a good eating spot.

perfect location just next to Balmoral beach(next to swimming net area). great beach view vibes. They have lots drinks and food menu(cocktails/liquors, coffee, kids menu, burgers, scones, some sweets etc). You can grab a table by yourself and order with QR code(me&u) or at counter. Hope they open till bit more late!

If the weather is bad, i can’t imagine this place thriving as much as sunny days. We sat in a big picnic style table out the back. The decor is absolutely beautiful - big pots of fresh flowers, cakes displayed beautifully, san pelligrino bottles lined up.

Order pub style at the kitchen, plenty to choose from for brekkie or lunch! I love the coconut drinks, makes you feel like you are on holiday…

Raw Green Veggie Bowl $22 - Kale, zucchini, poached eggs + avocado Add smoked salmon $7 - this portion was stupidly huge, i don’t know how anyone could finish it, overkill on all elements, flavours were great though! I’ll order something different next time
Bacon + Egg Roll $13 Aioli, tomato chutney, cheese + rocket - _another huge portion but this looked amazing and the boys said it tasted great!_

Stunning place for lunch or breakfast on a sunny spring day in Sydney. Make the trek from the cbd if you are staying there and have breakfast. Maybe take a taxi. The parking is scarce and expensive. The setting has a wonderful nautical feel to it. There is also a scenic beachside walk after your meal. Highly recommended.

Great view of the water as well as a quick coffee spot with a little cake!
