Best Work ever

I'd give them zero stars if possible. They don't understand the postcodes and think every NSW region has to be in Sydney and the express parcel keeps doing circles within the facility and the arrival date keeps updating for the next day. For some stupid reason the website still shows on time. After a fair bit of hassle over the phone the rep says they can't read or scan the address, maybe it scrubbed off or they put a tape over it, which I have a clear photo isn't the case as it's their own prepaid package. They'll make up any and every excuse to put it back on you. We direly need a competitive postal service.

Hopeless service… once your mail ends up here just know that it won’t make its way out. Ive had one tracked letter worth $200 stuck in this lazy sorting centre for over 2 weeks and it yet it still showed as “on time” when it was well overdue. 2 weeks after that my letter finally was delivered as it was experiencing a “significant delay” (deserves one star for not losing it). Now 3 of my tracked letters are stuck there again (worth $300). It has been 5 business days since… they better not have lost my mail!!!!!

We set up a mail redirection while we were renovating our house. This centre was responsible for putting the redirection sticker on our mail. It seemed to work about 5%-10% of the time. I have had to contact Australia Post about a dozen times, via email and phone, to see what has happened to our mail. After becoming extremely frustrated, I asked to speak to a manager. The Customer Services Manager I spoke to said "to be positive, and realistic, I doubt we can fix this problem". I couldn't believe it. There is something seriously wrong with this place.

Three passports of my kids were processed in Strathfield facility about one month ago but never delivered to us. Communication with Australia Post is terrible and they are unable to tell the whereabouts of the passports.

I had to wait for more than a week for my parcel to come… Extremely slow service. Someone please monitor this facility 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

Here is the response I got for a correct address parcel being marked as incorrect address and return to sender:

"I’ve investigated with the Strathfield Delivery Centre which is responsible for delivering this parcel. They’ve confirmed that this parcel was returned to the sender due to an incorrect or incomplete delivery address on the parcel. I recommend you contact them for more information and to arrange for the item to be resent.

Unfortunately, we’re unable to investigate further. If your article is still outstanding I would recommend discussing it further with the sender in case there is anything they are able to organise for you."

This is just ridiculous!

I was waiting for a parcel containing my passport at home and took a day off to get this as it required signature but postie from this facility didn’t knock the door at all. The status change to delivery attempted No one in attendance on website without dropping a card. The delivery address is a house no fence, dog or other issues and pretty safe to park posties bike. Dropping at LPO instead of delivery seems to be new norm in AUSPOST and is really frustrating and annoying!!

I post my Parcel to WA on 24/1/2022 in Gordon PO, report on 14/2 as no one can respond my request then I got email and phone calls replied, but all are about investigating process on the way and keep giving us date and keep postponed. We all know about the chaos at the moment, but when I asked about Gordon PO they said Strathfield facility centre pick up all parcels but then main office said no other scan found. What is happening here? Should we choose not to post anything anymore. There are valuables items for your important people over other places and the parcel either has lost or stolen, who knows. We are all not in good mental health already, why APO made so much profit in business, can they empathy we customer and do something about it.

My friend lodged a visa application to the Moroccan embassy. Her passport is now missing. After her visa was approved, it was sent through here and it never got to the next facility which was supposedly St. Leonard's warehouse. We've called so many times and all they ever said was "we're looking for it for you" - which isn't the case. You know they're doing nothing and that they're actually just waiting. My friend now has to renew her passport, apply for new visas and pay waaaay more. There's a pattern of passports getting lost at this facility. I've had a look at other reviews as well. Whoever is working on the deliveries needs to be monitored.

Slower than a snail!

I have calculated that this Australia Post mail depot is slower than a snail. Literally! My office is within a one kilometer radius of this mail depot and thanks to mail tracking I've had to watch my parcel sit at this depot for two weeks now. This parcel contains stock for a customer, which has come from overseas and needs to go out to my customer asap.

"But why is it slower than a snail?" I hear you ask. The average speed of a snail is 0.032 kph (32.1m/h) and I've calculated that the amount time it would take for a snail to reach my office from the mail depot using the road system, the exact same road system their vans would use, would roughly be 3.5 days. So a SNAIL would have been able to do the trip AND BACK... TWICE!

So in conclusion, Australia Post is officially twice as slow as an average snail.

PC part has been stuck at this facility for more than a week past the original delivery date now. Australia Post refuses to try to track/investigate/locate it's whereabouts. The best advice they give is to contact the seller about it. Such a hassle.

Lost three tracked domestic letters here. Each containing valuable goods. Contacted Australia Post for compensation, although I haven't heard back from them in a month. Tried to call them, but they are only accepting Urgent calls and a missing parcel is not considered Urgent.

Passport needed urgently. Sitting there for 1 week. Called post last couple of days. Asked the customer service representative what is the time frame for the registered post. Got the answer she doesn’t know. Saw other reviews. All are the same. COVID affected, well understand. But 5 days no

Had two letters for registered post with tracking, keeps getting processed at Strathfield and it's not going anywhere, the mail I sent is very important and the delays are unacceptable.

I'm disappointed that this is happening I understand this pandemic has caused delays etc with delivery drivers on strike but mail should still be delivered within a reasonable timeframe.

If you have anything urgent to send I would consider carefully who you choose to do it with.

My item has not moved from here after being logged in 9 days ago who is stealing the mail from this facility.... Eventually my item was released and sent on its way... but the time for a small letter was way too long, still wonder what is actually going on here.

They didn't even try to deliver the item and directly changed the status to "delivery attempted". Now parcel is sitting at the local post office. What a poor service..

My passport is there for 5 days and no movement, customer service not care and they even don’t know what’s happening. They are very useless facilities in Sydney.
