Melissa was awesome! We came in 40min before close looking for some takeaway, and she went above and beyond :)

She was more than welcoming, let me change the gnocchi to linguine, and then gave us complimentary drinks while we waited.

Definitely coming back!

This was one of the best restaurants I have been to in some time. The staff were very attentive and respectful and the food came hot and fresh. We ordered two pizzas and they were some of the best pizzas I have had in a while, they had the perfect amount of toppings and the base had a nice crisp and chew that you expect in a quality pizza. I highly recommend the Chef Pizza, it's one of the best combinations I have had from a speciality pizza. I'll be sure to come back again soon!

Beautiful Restaurant, awesome food! - went with a group of people. Ordered Entree, Pizzas and Pasta. Staff were great to chat to, very busy that night but manager was great!

Very friendly attentive staff. The restaurant offers a special menu for multiple big events such as a concert alongside sporting events such as the NRL, basketball & netball matches. We went for an early dinner before the Amy Shark concert at Qudos Bank Arena. There was also the Souths Newcastle NRL match at Stadium Australia the same night. Fortunately we booked a table several days before the night, as they were totally booked out. Food and drinks were served efficiently and tasted delicious. We ordered the garlic bread and linguine boscaiola. We will eat here again when visiting Sydney Olympic Park and will definitely prebook when there’s big events on to avoid disappointment.

Wow! this place was heaving last night as there were 3 major events on Olympic Park but that did not impact on the level of service and food at Piccolo Roma. The pizzas were do delicious as was the pasta. The service was very attentive and so friendly. The manager Melissa was fabulous. Thank you. This will be our new go to restaurant when we go to a concert at Homebush... and we have several over the next few months. But booking is a must!

Just as the reviews read, very hospitable and pleasant staff. It can seat also a good capacity. Nicely done up place with music as per the weather. It is raining and we were famished. Quickly checked which good italian is nearby and bang on. Ordered Chicken risotto and Mediterranean pasta. Requested if it could be made spicy to suit our pallete. Both dishes came out fresh, hot and just as they should be. Pasta sauce tasted well with chopped mushrooms, eggplants, zucchini and right amount of pepper. Chicken Risotto was creamy with sufficient parmesan shavings and again right amount for one person to enjoy. The quantity served is good to be enjoyed. Will revisit for Pizza homemade spicy sauce.

Staff were best my family have ever experienced in the city. Catered for the kids, took orders quickly and with a happy, enthusiastic attitude. Delivered food promptly, which was the best pizza and pasta we have ever tasted. Wish this restaurant was in our backyard as we would be regular attendees!

Not lying when I say this, probably the best food I’ve ever had at a restaurant. The pizzas especially were the best, pasta was v nice as well. The atmosphere was very good too.

We decided to try this place because the place we booked nearby was closed. We were pleasantly surprised by this impromptu dinner. Couldn't fault the food and service. It was a little noisy, but in a good buzzy way. Will return when we're in the area again.

We booked an early dinner here prior to the Lauryn Hill concert. We were welcomed like long, lost relatives!!

Our hostess was so genuinely warm and friendly! The home made bread and dips were delicious as was the penne. The Gnocchi gamberi with pesto was beyond delicious!!! I couldn't finish my plate but the thought of leaving any behind broke my heart!!!

The only down side was that they don't serve coffee or dessert. I really hope that changes one day. 🙏🙏🙏

We had an excellent experience after visiting Piccolo Roma on Wednesday evening. From my initial inquiry, making a booking, even arriving at this restaurant, every interaction was professional and friendly. Our meals were delivered piping hot and in good time and the quality and flavour of the meals (especially my veal dish) was some of the best I've eaten. The owner Mel and the staff were efficient but not intrusive and our experience was really great. I would definitely return again as well as recommend others to enjoy this great Italian restaurant.

This was one of the best Italian meals I’ve had in ages. It’s was so good I had to tell the chef. The pasta in the lasagna was very authentic the flavors were great. I’d go back here any day

Went to Ed Sheeran concert, all the restaurants were packed we hadn’t booked as we weren’t sure what time we’d get there. The restaurant let the 2 of us in but only for pizzas as they were incredibly busy. The staff are fantastic and didn’t show the stress they must have been under. Food was delicious. We had been there previously and the pasta was delicious

Good, delicious, satisfying food. Deserving of their great reviews. We shared a pepperoni pizza, greek salad and garlic bread. The garlic bread was perfectly crunchy and drenched in butter & garlic, just perfect. Same with the pizza and salad, just perfect. Quick service too, and a friendly cashier. Highly recommended.

The food was so fresh and absolutely amazing. The pizza base was airy and crisp - perfect for the toppings. The lamb pizza is a must!
