My UZS186 Toyota Crown Majesta had an electrical issue. The boot release and reversing camera was not working. Four auto electricians in two states, including Toyota in Queensland could not resolve the problem. Taki quickly diagnosed the problem and fixed it. Taki is a very skilled and knowledgeable mechanic. A previous workshop had improperly installed a brake actuator on my 2006 Toyota Crown Majesta. Taki found the issue very quickly and refitted the part correctly. He is a honest mechanic, kept me updated throughout the procedure and was open about pricing throughout the entire process. A couple of years ago I was highly recommended by the owner of a 200SX to visit Perfect Run for servicing of my imported vehicles and I am so glad that I did.
Taki, the owner, is an English-speaking Japanese mechanic whose attention to detail is second to none. He has a vast knowledge and experience in mechanical servicing and repairs and operates from the most spotlessly clean workshop I have ever seen. He is also able to read and identify any of those warning displays that may appear in your dash cluster in Japanese which is very reassuring and helpful for quick diagnosis.
He is friendly, courteous and professional.
As well as servicing, and repairs, Taki is also able to source parts from Japan from the on line extension of his mechanical repair business. He recently obtained and fitted coil-over suspension for me for my Nissan Cube at competitive prices.

I went many mechanics for my 08 subie sti, even I went to high performance shops and local famous auto mechanics but never satisfy during 4 years. I am trying to put my effort with care in my car as much as I can, but due to lack of knowledge, many people tried to put less work and high cost. THIS PLACE, which TAKI, I dare say that, he is the most professional and reasonable mechanic I ever seen. I have been here for major service, regular service etc and I never ever regret myself and prices are reasonable. Taki is really well known on car and I can feel he likes car. I think the person who really like car should being a mechanic and he is the one. If you really like cars and want to care as much as you can, just come. He will care even if its small or big job. I will keep put my car here even though I change my car.

Taki is an absolute pro. Very personable, friendly and extremely knowledgeable in JDM cars.

Took my Elgrand to him initially for servicing which he did very well and highlighted some serious suspension issues that needed addressing, which he did promptly.

Then I took it to him again with a bunch of strange problems (weird and complicated abs issue and concerning steering noises). Taki took some time but correctly figured out the underlying cause of all of the issues and fixed them without issue. The van is now running smoothly!

I found Taki to be very honest and transparent about pricing and quotes and he will never do any work until you understand his diagnosis/resolution, the quote and you give the okay.
Initially I thought his prices were a bit high but I got some quotes from other mechanics to compare and actually his prices are quite good given the level of service and expertise he has.

He even drove me to Lidcombe station after I dropped off my car which was a very nice touch.
