Lay Low Bar

I would highly highly recommend Lay Low for a private event. I recently had my birthday party there and it was AMAZING. The drinks, vibe, food and service were impeccable. Liam and his team were flexible, friendly and attentive from pre party organising to the actual night and post event. All my guests had a memorable evening and I had the best birthday ever. A great speakeasy. Good vibes, excellent drinks, food is beyond great. Cocktails are consistently fantastic. If you can't find something you want on the menu the bar staff make something up which has never failed to be exactly what we're after. Staff are always friendly and personable. Great date place, we've been here for anniversary drinks and nights with friends. You can order food from Brotherhood next door, which, if you don't know, is the best souvlaki in Melbourne.

First time here at Lay Low hidden behind a steel door through a shop down Seddon way. Didn't disappoint a loungey bar with great signature cocktails. Their house vodka is best available in a Melbourne bar. Went on a Saturday night full but not over packed. The lighting gives this bar a great ambience. Highly recommend even saw a furry friend lounging around 😁

A hidden gem in West Footscray. The cocktail list it short and sweet but they make it well. If you want a classic cocktail you can order off the menu. The cocktails are always full of flavour, scent and will leave you wanting more. The bar is modern, cosy and friendly where sometimes the bar tender is also the waiter. My favourite to go to is their version of the Grass Hopper!

Beautiful venue, and delicious cocktails will definitely be back soon.

I hosted my 30th birthday party at Lay Low last weekend and simply couldn’t have had a better experience. From the point of my first inquiry to following up on a phone left behind at the end of the night, communication was clear and professional. The venue was perfect on the night itself, the staff were incredible. They took orders all over the room so that people didn’t have to line up at the bar for drinks, they facilitated food orders throughout the night and made delicious cocktails. Their sound system is perfect - easy to get your own playlist running, loud enough that you can hear the music all night, but balanced so that you can still hear everyone you’re talking to. We had multiple older guests remark that it was the first time in a long time they’d been to a bar and been able to hear other people clearly. I can’t thank Lay Low enough for a perfect birthday and I already can’t wait to go back.

Have tried almost every one of their regular cocktails. Each one is unique and delicious. Fantastic, personal service and the food from the brotherhood is flawless

Staff are friendly, drinks are great, very bibey music

I recently held a private function at Lay Low Bar. Rachael, Miles and Collin were nothing short of amazing! Nothing was too difficult as they helped me organise catering and decorations. On the night, their service was so great, Miles even remembered all of my guests names as he took their drink orders! I highly recommend this exceptional local bar.

Popped in on a saturday night for a cocktail with my partner. Prices were fine, the vibe was great and the staff excellent. Having young children, we hadnt been out in ages so this was a great place to visit on our comeback to nightlife!

Me and my wife always wanted to visit this bar. The last time we went, it was booked out for a private event. But this time we were lucky on a Saturday night. It wasn't as busy as we expected it to be. We got a table immediately. I ordered the drinks at the bar, we were served water on the table immediately and the hostess was nice enough to fill water in my glass every time I finished it. Nice bar, definitely worth going.

Great cocktail bar in the heart of seddon. Love the bars style and mix of drinks. Comfy booths and the food you can order in from next door greek restaurant is amazing!

The venue is a great, hidden little spot.
The drinks are all top quality... You'll continue to keep finding new favourites.

A very unique and cosy little speak easy with a eclectic array of liquor. The American whiskey selection is outstanding with some of the worlds best Rye and Bourbon examples on their shelves. The bar tender was very experienced and exceptionally skillful at his craft. Wish it was our local.

What a hidden gem. Absolutely amazing service, atmosphere and comfort! Definitely worth a visit
