Lake Alexandra Reserve

Very neat & quiet! We visited on our way back from Tulip festival as this was close to Corbett gardens. Loved the walking trail around the lake. A wonderful picnic spot for families with kids. The toilets were clean and the play area was sufficient.

Nice lake with fountain on the middle with flicks of ducks 🦆 floating around and garden with toilets accessible nice picnic area as well…

A beautiful park to break up a trip for the kids. There is also great food in Mittagong

Clean TOILETS in a public park. Love it! They're nothing special but appreciate the cleanliness on a school holiday Wednesday. Great playground and BBQs and picnic spot.

Beautiful and relaxing place for a walk and unwind. Plenty of fauna. Try to spot the turtles, cormorant, various ducks, kingfisher. If you go in Autumn, there are red leaves everywhere

Cute little park, for a quick stop and short wander around the lake (5-10 minutes) with plenty of ducks! A number of benches for a picnic with bbq facilities, a playpark, and public toilets.

I took my 2 grandchildren down to Lake Alexandra.
The setting is just adorable and both children had an amazingly awesome time. The playground,the ducks and other birds,spotting the goldfish.
Unfoŕtunately though whilst galavantiñg about playing my grandson got a red fish hook lodged into his gym boot.
Truly my question is who is using a fishing hook in this vicinity and why?
Please caretakers of this premises, be aware of this occurrence.

Fantastic park, well maintained with clean facilities and excellent grounds

This is a beautiful lake to go for a relaxed walk or sit at many of seated areas. There are a lot of beautiful areas to see the difference types of wildlife located in and around the lake. There is plenty of parking around the lake and in the side streets. Very nice lake in the autumn/winter time. It has beautiful colours all over. Nice overall.

Such a lovely peaceful place for a morning walk. Take in all the sounds and scents as you walk. It's good for the soul.

A family-friendly, dog friendly park. Range of seating areas and BBQs. Lovely lake and kids playground. My nervous little dogs outing was a success.

Lovely lake, surrounded by peaceful bushland. Plenty of ducks. But also, watch out for snakes...

Beautiful hidden park in Mittagong. Interesting local history with mountain in the background, serene surrounding & not too big lake size with ducks constantly enjoying the water. Toilet, bbq, benches, playground, paved walking strip & plenty of parking space compliment the beauty of the lake. Hiking is also available to the top of the hill.

Is one of the most relaxing places I've been to, it has gym equipment around the lake and a hidden pathway among the bushes, playground is just fine, but toilets have the handle lock, you can get inside but not close it. Not too far from Mittagong's station

Absolutely beautiful place to visit. Lots of birds and nice places to sit around the water.
Would be a lovely spot for a walk or a picnic. Definitely bring some frozen peas for the ducks they'll eat out of your hand!

Quite and beautifully place to Spen time. Enjoyed it. Parked the car on the top and spend some quality time. Toilets and picnic facilities.

Lake Alexandra Reserve is a beautiful place to take a stroll. The path around the lake is friendly to prams and strollers and the bird life is sensational. The playground kept the kids busy for a while as well.

Place is under reconstruction till March 2021, so parking is limited. There is some parking in Pioneer Street opposite the school.
All facilities are still available.
Some very nice bushwalks from here.
Also, a good playground for the children.
Lots of bird life, especially the water bird life..ducks and water hens and so on.

Absolutely gorgeous location. There was an accident that closed the Hume highway so we doubled back to here to just relax and wait for everything to open again.

Lovely lake with waterbirds also a terrific playground for the children and a gas BBQ . Exercise equipment around the walk which is level and has seating along the edge of the lake. Close to Mittagong main shops for some fish and chips or pies to take to the lake if you forgot a picnic basket.
