Does not operate with transparency. Passed a cat law that they declared 'unopposed.' The reason it was 'unopposed' was because they never told the public about it - no one even knew even knew the law had changed until 7 months after the fact when a friend told me. Also passed a change to recycling laws, which I found carefully concealed within junk mail. Is it too much to ask that they send people letters or emails? After all, they have our addresses and emails. Even worse, one of them tried to commit suicide in a council meeting. What sort of operating procedures do they have? Extremely subpar based on the information at hand!

Absolutely useless. Rates were sent to the wrong address and i have since been charged interest as a result, even though they were notified (twice) of a change of address on settlement of the property. No interest in resolving the matter when contacted either.

I've never found a business that works so hard to do as little as possible or and to stifle investment in the town. If they just did their job correctly the first time it would be easy on them

Rates are set at extortion levels. The council does very little for the money.
