Hurricane's Grill & Bar Bondi Beach

After living in Bondi for years, my visitors wanted to go here, and it turned out to be a pleasant surprise. The food was delicious and the service was great. No wonder the place is always busy. Had the ribs, half beef and half pork, very tasty.

Was a pleasant dining experience in here. Food was very good! Our tummy is extremely happy.

Nice restaurant located very near Bondi Beach. Food quality and service were fantastic and price was reasonable for two pax. Loved the salt and pepper squid and garlic prawns (see photo) for starters. Ordered half rack of pork ribs and 300g sirloin, which was perfectly cooked to medium. Will definitely return to this place!

Hurricane’s is a delicious steakhouse right conveniently in the middle of Bondi Beach shopping area! I got a 300g Scotch Fillet (cooked to medium), however it didn’t come butter-basted which I thought it would. I didn’t even notice because I was enjoying my meal however at the end right as I was paying, I just asked them if it was and they said that they are happy to butter-base it if you just ask next time. That aside Hurricane’s is a great steak house you need to try the amazing steak that they deliver.

If you order full lip for lunch, you can order it by mixing it with fork and beef! Fish and chips were crispy and so delicious.

My Boyfriend and I came here yesterday on a quiet Monday night and had one of the best nights out in a long time! The food was so delicious I feel as though there was hardly any wait time for food those chefs were whipping up in that kitchen and they definitely know what they were doing! everything was perfect from the food to the atmosphere to our wonderful server regrettably we didn’t catch his name but he was very kind and patient with us when we couldn’t decide what we wanted (everything sounded too good) all of the front of house staff were very sweet and everyone made sure to check how everything was going many times. we felt we were treated so well here! By the time we have finished all of our food we were contemplating whether or not we needed to be wheeled out of the restaurant that’s how good everything was! Thank you everyone!

I decided to get 2 starter's as my main and was extremely satisfied with my decision.

I had the Sydney rock oysters served with chardonnay vinaigrette, salmon roe and cucumber, as well as the scallops served with garlic, lime and miso burnt butter. OMG ... so, so good.

I was very happy with my choice and can say the scallops were the best I have ever had!!! Delicious!!

The service was also great and location just up the way from Bondi Beach. Great overall experience 👌

I recently had the pleasure of indulging in a steak and chips meal at Hurricane's restaurant, and I have to say that it was an absolutely fantastic experience.

The steak itself was perfectly cooked to my desired level of doneness - medium rare - and was incredibly tender and juicy. It had a wonderful charred flavor on the outside that contrasted perfectly with the soft, succulent meat on the inside. The accompanying chips were also exceptional - crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside, with just the right amount of seasoning to bring out their natural flavors.

5 stars for service, 5 stars for food, 4 stars for location (would be 5 if it was facing the beach)
We went on boxing day and made online reservations, got a good table when we arrived. We had the scallops for starters and the prime rib steak, both were delicious. Staff were very friendly and helpful, would definitely go again of in Bondi.

2 of us and ordered 2 mixed ribs (beef n pork), oyster and octopus. Taste were great! The cocktails were so pretty that both of us had go for 2 for it.

A conveniently situated restaurant just off Bondi Beach. Friendly attentive staff. We all ordered Chicken Caesar salads. They were delicious. A great variety of drinks including a delicious ginger beer. The toilets were immaculate. It was lovely to see the staff caring for some elderly regulars, providing a cushion for the gentleman and intervening when they were about ro receive a parking ticket. A great experience.

The Ribs were devine! I had a mix of Pork and Lamb and it was a super generous serving size. I only just managed to finish a full rack solo so more than enough for 2ppl to share with a side too. Considering it was fairly busy, service was fairly quick. More than hit the spot

Great food, great atmosphere. We was served by Gemma, who was very helpful and attentive. She explained the menu and recommended the ribs which were unbelievable. Couldn’t have been better. 10/10 from Gemma.

Friendly service and good food. I had the rib and steak combo, absolutely delicious, and portion size was very generous.

Had the full rack of pork ribs with sweet potato fries and tap beers. Those were absolutely enjoyable and will be a perfect choice after swimming at the beach.

Scotch fillet and Beef ribs were absolute fire. The only thing better than the food was the service. Walked in on a Saturday night and was seated in a timely manner by the lovely lady at the front. The food did not take long at all. Staff were incredibly friendly. Thank you.

Great beach has one of the finest rib steak house and it's Hurricane's, I would say. Unless you're a vegetarian or what, I would say it's just the right choice and you would never regret having meal here.

All I can say is lots of positive thing's, the place is clean and tidy, parking is a nightmare but hey it is bondi beach after all no no harm no foul. The service was outstanding, friendly, happy bubbly with great energy and personalities. The food was really nice and love the garlic bread abd would rate it. Only thing is it is on the pricey side of life for 2 stakes and a garlic bread.
