literally the best biltong I’ve ever had, gotta call this place heaven from now on

Service: lots of staff, good humoured, quick, friendly
Products: literally the best meat I have ever eaten ever. You can throw away your knives and cut your steak with your index finger. Snags are amazing. Haven’t eaten my rissoles yet but I’m quietly confident they will be amazing. Beef sausages seem like they’re about 10% fat, never seen it before and sooo good. You will pay top dollar but these are the best meat products you can get so really it’s a deal. Think of it like paying $200K for a $300K Porsche.

Overall: even the paper or plastic bags they use feel high quality. I don’t know of any better butcher.

The staff at this butcher go above and beyond. After purchasing a very heavy chopping block, Jason realized very quickly that my attempt to balance all my items on foot to North Bondi was a failure waiting to happen, and within seconds another wonderful staff member, Philip was carrying my items and drove me home. This kind of service is very special.

Best butcher in Sydney. Super helpful team that know what’s what and are willing to make sure you leave smiling. Plus the cooked food is incredible! Potato bake and pork belly (CRACKling!!!)are amazing. And the vegetables are to die for. And they have real Australian bacon! We’ve been getting brisket from various places and this has been the best. Can park downstairs and they’ll validate the ticket too. And when I get there at the end of the day I always get a little freebie. Nearly forgot! They’ve been cheaper than anywhere else too! I can spoil myself with a ribeye on the bone!

Thank you Jason, manager at the Bondi store! He found & returned my lost phone today for which I am supremely grateful. All the staff there are friendly & helpful, & today Jason excelled. By the way, the food is superb - cooked peri peri & lemon herb chicken, roasted pork (with crackling!), lamb riblets, boeuf bourgignon, pork spare ribs .. a paradise of delicious meals. No more cooking? Yes please!

I buy biltong from the two Field to Fork butcher locations in Bondi & Vaucluse.
Today I bought the original biltong which is machine sliced or hand cut. You can buy original, spicy or wagyu (available at the Vaucluse shop) biltong.

Get the picanha from here. Sous Vide at 131F for 2 hours and then crisp it up on the BBQ or Cast iron. Best steak in Bondi. Bonus points if you make chimichurri

OR get the burger mince from here (they also have pre-made). It’s a combination of Chuck and Brisket beef (mix of fatty and flavour). Go on seriouseats and make the smashed burger. Best burger in Bondi. Bonus points if you go to the Harris farms next door and get the brioche buns. Butter those up and crisp on a toaster.

Biltong is AMAZING. Got too much too fast of it though so I’m on a break. They’re my local butcher. I get everything I can from them

Best butcher in Bondi. Super friendly guys run this place. Great assortment and fantastic. Quality meats. Plus a nice pre-made section for those last minute mid-week meals. Love this place!
