North Bondi Nami

Got take away from North Bondi Nami twice in the last week and couldn't be happier,

>Beautiful chicken and pork ramen
>AMAZING take away cocktails ( much cheaper then other places @ 12 dollars a margarita).

Will definitely be back over the weekend for cocktail as I covid safely watch the sun set

The bershire pork cutlet main is amazing! It's my go-to and it never disappoints.

As I am the first to review, and as it was their first service as "Bondi Nami", I will be gentle. I do believe a restaurant should get a grace period when opening.
having said that, this is a Solotel establishment and as such, expectations are above average. Can't say the same about the food, or the service.
They decided to go with the new post pandemic ordering app, making the patrons order through their phone, and paying and tipping before actually getting any food, drinks or service.
I have a lot to say about that, but to be fair, they are not the only ones.
My issue started with my friend and I having to wait for 10 minutes before even being acknowledged.
Even if you decided to use the app, at least have someone come to the table, offer water and explain how it all works.
Now for the food. 3 beautiful starters were a great and promising start to the meal. The issue was the mains. 2 noodles dishes. Both not good. Both were served room temperature rather then hot. Both with no depth of flavour.
The staff asked our honest opinion, noticing we haven't really touched our mains. They were very cool about it , listening to what we had to say and offered to send us some desserts on the house.
Strawberry and cream sando was as simple as its description. Unfortunately the bread was dry as. The Apple sorbet was nice.
So, if you still an old fashioned like me, liking a real service experience, Its not the place for you.
But if you just after some drinks and a few starters overlooking a nice view, its definitely a good option in Bondi.

Was looking forward to trying the pop up but a disappointing experience. Starters were fine but nothing to write home about. Ramens were not good. Broth lacked richness and balance and the noodles were overdone.

Ordered two ramens and a salad for take away. For $18 you'd expect a bit more than a mouthful of salad. Flavours were just OK but probably wouldn't order again. Staff was nice.

Wouldn’t recommend- although the staff were friendly and the takeaway service was prompt, the food was very disappointing.

The prawn gyoza & chicken karaage were ok however that’s where it ended. The ramen was awful & missing the egg & whatever meat they gave us tasted odd and well over cooked (we ordered chicken but it looked like pork). The soba noodle salad had an off taste & was mushy.

We had really high expectations from this kind of venue but it was well below average and wouldn’t recommend to anyone.

Real disappointing unfortunately! Noodles were okay but our ramen broths were terrible & the tonkotsu was really far from traditional tonkotsu. Ambience shattered by over-zealous DJ surrounded by his friends shouting at one another over the top of the music.

I sooo wanted this to be good… Just disappointed mainly, noodles and garnish were nice but a very average broth. Service was notably bad. Let’s leave ramen to the Japanese.

Really disappointed in the quality of food for the Bondi price tag. The edamame was burnt with no flavor, vege ramen was sweet and not nice, my partner couldn’t finish his rice and chicken :(

The gyoza were ok but this was probably the worst ramen I have ever had. Emailed the owner directly with feedback but received no response after a considerable period of time, hence this review.
