Bed in a Shed Vineyard Stay Clare Valley South Australia

if it was possible to give 10 instead of 5 stars I would. We have been travelling for 16 days now and this has been the absolute highlight. It is incredibly clean, spotless in fact but has soo much atmosphere, is relaxing and very welcoming. Andrew is a very special host, with wonderful humour and her enriched our visit to the Clare Valley. All our needs were covered for with clear directions, welcome texts, stunning breakfast of local products, many personal thoughts and items that no other B&B never provided. We will certainly be back and will definitely recommend Bed in a Shed to all our friends. An outstanding experience.

Carolyn and Andrew were excellent hosts! So helpful and knowledgeable about the local area and where was worth visiting. We stayed in Bed in a shed too which provided every luxury you could wish for with a quirky charm. The breakfast and coffee provided was a lovely touch. Was a great location to hop onto the Riesling Trail and cycle into Clare. Would definitely recommend, and will make sure to come again!

Andrew and Carolyn were amazing hosts. Unfortunately they had just left for Tasmania, but that didn’t stop them from making sure we were taken care of. The home is beautifully built in a sustainable manner, just how we like it! It was warm and inviting and the views were to die for. The goats were sassy and we loved feeding them. We had skinks, blue tongue lizards and Guinea fowl as neighbours. Would return in a heartbeat.

Everything you'd want from a BnB. Beautiful location among the vines, close to everything in the Clare Valley, and absolute comfort. Booked the 3 "Sheds" for our large family get together. Fun, quirky, and space for us all. Well done Andrew and Carolyn - your BnB has given us a fantastic weekend.

What a wonderful relaxing stay we had at Bed In a shed. The accommodation is quirky and uses a lot of recycled materials but is first class all the way. Our bed was super comfy, our shower hot and with great pressure, our fridge stocked with more breakfast supplies than we could eat in two days. The outlook is beautiful and serene and the furnishings stylish and comfiortable. We had friends stay the second night in "Bed in a shed too" which is more spacious and has a lovely large out door area to relax in. We stayed two nights but wished we had longer. Andrew and Carolyn are great hosts, welcoming and helpful and then discreet allowing you to enjoy your privacy and your luxury. We finished our stay with a walk through Andrew's art studio which was the icing on our cake. Andrew's work also is featured in the accommodation so you get the pleasure of admiring his talent in very relaxing conditions. There are bbqs under cover to cook your supplies and a bar fridge to store your goodies. The whole area is delightful and we enjoyed our lovely evening walks before settling in to a bbq meal at home and breathing in the beautiful surrounds. I can highly recommend Bed in a shed if you are looking for a few days of quiet relaxation in beautiful well appointed surrounds.

Lived up to the quirkiness in its name. Lots of thoughts, passion & love given to the place. Not too far off from the main road. Located in the middle of vineyards, it's peaceful & quiet with occasional chuckling and bleating. Love barbequing our own meals. Only for those with adventurous heart ❤

Such a unique and very comfortable place to stay and enjoy ClareValley from! Rustic, artsy, clean, surprisingly cosy (given the name), with friendly hosting, a great rural view and private feel.

We visited Clare for a weekend getaway, but didn't stay at Bed in a shed. This was the 2nd time we called in to Vine Art, we were shown one of the Bed in a shed and were really surprised, well fitted out wtih all the comforts and provisions for a great breakfast.. we bought a nice bottle of red from their own vineyards, well worth the visit..

The most unique, interesting and welcoming place we've stayed! Would absolutely recommend to anyone looking for accommodation in the Clare region. A fabulous time had by young and old alike! Will definitely be back :)

Andrew gave us clear instructions to get to bed in a shed too as we arrived in the dark. The record player and fire was a winner for us. We asked for special food for breakfast and we were accommodated.Our daughter enjoyed her own space and seperate bathroom. Had a thoroughly great time and enjoyed waking up to see the animals from my bed. Thanks Andrew and Carolyn.

The perfect location for a relaxing weekend away. Warm, welcoming, quirky, cosy and romantic - we loved our stay at Bed in a Shed (July 2020). Great peaceful location, excelllent comfortable accomodation, beautiful views overlooking the vineyards. We'll definitely visit again!

Andrew was an excellent host and the space was terrific. There was something special about cooking your meals on the bbq surrounded by vines and artistic flare. A wonderful stay. 99 points 🍇.

Love this place very rustic & the owner Andrew was very friendly and helpful. Beautiful vista overlooking the vineyards. Private bbq handy to the riesling wine bike trail. Love it love it
