Adrift Retreat

My family enjoyed a fantastic stay at Adrift, with all three generations requesting that we provide a "glowing review" of the house. Peter was a flawless host, the house was perfectly equipped and sized for our family of 14, and the views were spectacular. The waterfront yard was huge and a perfect kids play zone, and the kayaks really topped of the great experience.

We had a great time at Adrift retreat and highly recommend this place. Its ideal for a larger group of people with lots of room and entertainment areas. Kayaking was the highlight of our trip and the kids absolutely loved it. Peter was very accommodating and went out of his way to facilitate us. We are definitely returning for another trip soon!

Truly beautiful home. Perfect location, very peaceful beside the water. The house was clean and felt like home. Had everything we needed to make our stay easy and comfortable. Peter our host was very helpful and kind. He provided us with extra folded beds, baby cot, pillows and blankets and towels to ensure everyone was well looked after. We were so surprised that there was even 2 rice cooker in the pantry. First time staying at a holiday house which pretty much had everything we needed. Amazing!

The whole family had such a great time staying at Adrift Retreat. The house was fully stocked with everything you could need. The Kayaks were great fun and we especially appreciated having the kids kayaks and life jackets for them to use!
It was great to have a house right on the water which meant we didn’t have to go anywhere for a beautiful backyard picnic while others kayaked or fished.

Property is very well positioned on the lake. House is very homely with lovely decor and extremely well equipped. Very clean with many convenient extras. Self check in/out is very convenient. Peter was very accommodating & quick to respond when we had a question. Would definitely recommend. Has lots of extras for children, so would suit family gatherings as well.

Great location, beautiful home. The home had everything we needed - was fully stocked from pantry to linen, which makes a week-long stay much more manageable. We loved the relaxed feel and the quality furnishing. Beds were comfortable and the place was quiet. Peter was great to deal with and made things very easy. Would stay again and definitely recommend!

Wow! We loved our stay in this gorgeous property. It is huge, impeccably presented with a stunning view. The beds were very comfortable, the kayaks and fire pit were a lot of fun and the kitchen was very well stocked. The host went above and beyond with communication and the lovely welcome gift. Highly recommend!

Our 3 generations family had a great stay at Adrift. The property was beautiful and clean, stunning view and overall just had a great vibe to it. My mum kept commenting how complete all the amenities were. Peter was also kind enough to accomodate my request for later checkout which was greatly appreciated. We really enjoyed our stay and spent quality time with our family after being separated last few years and this property provided everything that we hoped for to faciliate this reunion.

Adrift Retreat at St Georges Basin has everything you need for a relaxing family get together. The outlook to the Basin is lovely, the water is safe for kids (and adults) to play and kayak in. If the weather turns, there are 2 smart tv's and games to entertain everyone. Kitchen and laundry amenities were good and a large dining table facing out to the water for meal times.

Adrift Retreat is perfect in every way. We had four generations stay - eight adults and three boys under 6 -Exceptionally clean, very comfy beds and everything you need for a holiday by the water. The view was amazing as were the sunrises. The kitchen is very well equiped, plenty of rooms to socialise together or have some quiet time out. Kayak’s and life jackets were put to good use as well as the toys for the kids. To top it off we were left a couple of bottles of wine and chocolates. I would definitely recommend this to family and friends and we hope to be back again next year.

amazing location, well appointed accommodation with kayaks perfectly suited to the basin location. spotlessly clean and every possible piece of equipment or utensil available - highly recommended for larger groups or multi generational get togethers - the house configuration was well suited to three teenagers who all needed their own space.

We loved our stay at Adrift Retreat. The house was great. Big enough to accommodate a large group and the location right on St Georges Basin was absolutely beautiful. We loved being able to kayak at sunrise and sunset and the kids loved playing in the salty waters during the day. Bonus was that it was safe, shallow waters so we had no problems with any of the young kids just jumping in. The house was well stocked and beautiful upon first sight. Hamilton style'ish. Loved waking up and looking out to the Basin in the mornings from the Master bedroom. We would recommend this place and have already spread the word to family, friends and Facebook groups as a place to create some beautiful family or friendship memories. We will be planning to return soon. Every year if we can.

Where do I start this home is beautiful and clean. Our family of 10 stayed for 4 days celebrating hubbys 60 th. This home has everything one needs for a comfortable stay. We loved every minute, from kayaking to lazing around the beautiful backyard, will definatly stay here again. Peter and Veronica are the perfect hosts . "Absolutely Amazing" Such an exceptionally beautiful house. So much space, very clean, and the house presentation is perfect. So grateful to find a welcome note with a box of chocolate and two bottles of wine. We all had a wonderful time although the weather did not cooperate but it was not so bad being locked in the house. I would highly recommend this place. Thank you Peter and Veronica.

This house is amazing and clean, by far the best holiday house I've ever stayed in. The house is exactly the same as the pictures. Overlooking the basin with large windows showcasing the view. The kitchen has everything you could every need in large quantities.
The 5 bedrooms and 2 living spaces is great for a large group.
I'm extremely hard to please and never rate anything as 5 starts but myself and everyone in my group agreed this was a 5 star property.

This was my second stay and am still wowed by the house. The house is spacious and airy. The bedrooms and bathrooms were beautifully prepared. We had a wonderful stay and are definitely coming back again!

Doesn’t get much better! Plenty of space, well equipped and position perfect.
No one wanted to leave! And even the sleepy heads got up for the sunrises!!
So much to see and do. The kayaks were an added bonus especially first thing in the morning when the water was like glass.

Our extended family, comprising 14 adults, spent a weekend at Adrift in March. The property exceeded all our expectations- spotlessly clean, beautifully appointed and very spacious . The absolute waterfront position is serene & the perfect place to take in nature, with the pelicans & ducklings, providing the perfect setting to get away from the big city. It's also just a short drive to the beautiful beaches in Jervis Bay. We'll definitely be going back there to again recharge our collective batteries.

Had a family weekend away to celebrate my sons 40th birthday. The house is so comfortable, with everything you need. The owner Peter, is so helpful and will do his best to accomodate you. Highly recommend.
