Hawker's Cuisine

Best Malay food you can find in Australia, and very reasonable. We only paid $24 a head and had a full dinner, with many dishes. My favourite was the Marmite Ribs, as well as the Squid. The atmosphere is like a typical Hawker market in Malaysia, Singapore or Indonesia: so cool that they have recreated this in Perth! Enjoy!

Fuyong egg and fuzhou tofu was awesome!

Found this restaurant by accident and truly enjoyed the good food and service. This restaurant is run by Malaysian Chinese and the food variety is awesome. We couldn't help to visit this restaurant again before we leave Perth the next day.

Love the food at Hawkers. It's definitely one of the best Chinese restaurants in Perth. My kids favorite is the marmite chicken. I personally love the Japanese tofu. The best part is they have another brand Old Lane Eats that is also yummy.

Great experience here recently. The food was great, especially the Kway Teow and the Western Butter Chicken. Cold drinks and excellent service (with a smile) from the young lady from Taiwan. We will be back.

I have been a Hawkers customer for a long time. Started in my uni days and now 16 years later roughly. They are back to their old location, behind the old shanghai northbridge. The owner is always very friendly. Always attentive. Atmosphere has always been great. Its the whole charm of the place, service and food. Came here for chinese new year yesterday. They had the lion dance and some of the old favourites were still great. Food came out quick. We had Fuzhou tofu, Hot and Spicy squid, Hot plate beef, Crispy Pork Belly, Fried spring chicken and Ice Kachang for dessert. They all were delicious. Thank you for a great night.

If you're looking for cheap eats with mates, come here. The food was quick and easy to order. I've been here a few times and forgot to take photos, I was so hungry 😅 the photo is nasi lemak, flavors was there, but I needed an 💥

+ Highly recommend for the Singapore chili crab !!! The sauce is hot, tasty, juicy, well flavoured with fulfilling of crab meat, which is firm, fresh and high quality. Costly but worthy 🤤👌
+Fried mantou is good, not oily at all
-Tofu is normal, not really too special and hardly to finish the dishes with 4 people, not really tasty
-The venue is cozy, however it's quite bored with the decoration, they have nice pictures on the wall and red lantern on the ceiling, but the table settings isn't interesting and not much decorations
They should decorate their venue more, but their food quality is really stand out

Not a bad place for a casual dinner. The food was overall good and priced reasonably.

My family and I ordered:
Jiang Bao Beef (beef in a dark sauce. I think it was stir fried)
Pork Chop King

Both tasted good.

The beef was about 22 and the pork about 18. Pretty good value.

Service was fast. Place was heated which was good since it was winter

Never fails me in the past 15 years. Always the same taste since Uni days 🍻

Two of us ate 4 dishes and 2 beers with a total around $75 dollars.
Good price, food was tasty, and all of it came out quickly considering it was moderately busy.
Seems like a great place for large groups as the menu was extensive, with a video variety of food for anyones palette.
Byo wine not beer as I found out

Faultless everything but faves include hainanese chicken (+Chicken rice) and marmite chicken and ice lemon tea!

Had the nasi lemak with beef rendang and it was wonderful. The sambal could’ve been spicier but it was still good. The rice and rendang was on point!
For the drink i had kopi-o. It wasn’t my style cos it had less condensed milk in it but overall it still is a great experience. Definitely will be coming back!

Once you’ve come here, you have no reason why you should not come back. Pictures can’t justify how delicious their food is.

Excellent Malaysian food! Always great food but I especially love the Marmite Chicken, Butter Prawns and Hawker's Special Fried Rice!

Came here for Chinese New Year and it never fails to disappoint. Have been here for there normal menu and it's still delicious

This is the third day in Perth, not that the 14 of us missed our local food but since we were here, we ordered our usual, and trust me, we didnt realise we were in Perth! The noodles just simply superb!! Please, order the Hokkien Noodle and please remember the chili paste! Made for each other!
