AJ's Indian Restaurant

I have been a regular at this Indian restaurant in my neighborhood for the past four years, and it has never disappointed me. Whenever I crave authentic Indian food or need catering for a party at home, this is my go-to place. The manager, Manju, is incredibly kind and always goes out of his way to accommodate my needs. He pays close attention to my orders and even suggests new dishes based on my preferences. His courteous and attentive service truly adds to the dining experience. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for delicious Indian cuisine served with a personal touch.

Best Indian food. Have been going to them for a few years and just working my way through the menu and while favourites are there it is all amazing. Must go, must try. Mushroom masala is a sleeper dish that is amazing and included with almost every order from them since trying it.

Hi, I’ve just had a lamb Rogan Josh and I also had a chicken tikka starter and a sheesh kebab starter and I am telling you that I am a curry lover and I am not messing you around this place is absolute gem food was cooked freshly. Everything was absolutely perfect please if you’re reading this go and try it out for yourself absolutely no complaints. Will be coming again soon

Ordered uber eats, and the butter chicken is just beyond expectation.

Price is a bit high, but worth it. I ordered medium spicy, and it was very hot but fun to eat. I had half of the dish and started sweeting after dinner lol. The flavours are so rich and complex, I cannot tell what is in the sauce, but it was just so good!

The Pappadums are very thin and crispy, perfect to go with their butter chicken hot sauce. Literally the best butter chicken I have ever had.

How have I not left a review yet?! After 4 years of visiting this great establishment, it was only today that AJ asked me to scan the QR code and leave some honest thoughts... How could I let him down? He's never let me down! Thanks for the papadam and complimentary mango lassi today ...

Now getting to the point - tonight we ordered the vegetarian entree platter for 2, a mushroom masala (mild), a daal tadka (medium), and a large pilau rice. This is our go to, we always get this and we always love it! The mushroom masala is always deliciously rich, with generously cut, thick juicy mushrooms.

The daal tadka we usually get mild, and might revert to that as it had quite a kick! But usually is deliciously creamy, perfectly salted, and wonderfully textured. The entree we get as a fun addition if we're feeling peckish but today we had lots leftover, enough for a third!

Service is always lovely here, with warm staff who always greet with a smile! I'm always happy to visit, Ive never had a bad experience! Head inside to dine at a homely, cosy local restaurant, or get takeaway like us!

This restaurant is a great place to get some good indian food. The chicken 65 biryani and paneer dishes are all beautiful and the staff are so friendly. I was warmly welcomed and the staff are great to have a chat with. Thank you AJs!

We have been coming from rousehill to have our ind food here , the food taste was so good . Have tried many ind resturants in paramatta and city but Ajs Eastwood is the best.

I loved the food and restaurant! You also can choose low spices, if you are not used to spicy foods! Very well presented dishes.

Highly recommended, good for sharing especially for big group. The Malabar meen curry and anardana chicken is super delicious!

We celebrated my sons birthday at this restaurant and the overall experience was excellent for us all. The food was delicious and we were satisfied with every dish that we ordered. Stumbled on this marvelous little nook by chance..we were looking for an good Indian place for long since we moved to Sydney and were mostly disappointed up till yesterday.. it's probably the best north Indian I have had in Sydney.. the plaxe gives a very cosy vibe and the staff is really helpful and kind... We had the recommended butter chicken and nimbu Kali mirch gosht and boy was it good ..but the best surprise was their naan. It was so fluffy and fresh we doubled our order ..and ended up overeating.. but it was all worth it.
