Definitely a five-star! The Northern spring roll rice vermicelli was a burst of flavours. Generous portions and the food was well-priced! Thank you Phuong and team, we will comeback. One of the best Vietnamese restaurants in Central :)

Honestly the best pho thai in Australia! I am an experienced pho eater - probably had more than 1000 phos in the US, OZ, China, and Vietnam. This pho Thai by far got the closest taste to the one I had in Hanoi.

Ordered spicy beef noodle soup was incredibily flavourful! Along with that the strawberry smoothie was so good too. A great place for a delightful experience. Will definitely be coming back! Forgot to take photo of smoothie

This is conveniently located in Sydney's CBD close to Paddy's Market and has a great selection of tasty items to choose from.

We have been coming back to this Vietnamese restaurant for a very long time as the quality, taste and value you receive is phenomenal.

Like many others we have our favourite tasting dishes and today we ordered these. My favorite is menu item #76 Seafood Springroll with vermicelli (BUN CHA GIO), with some adjustments. I change the seafood springroll to the Northern Springroll and without mint. A dipping sauce is provided and is perfectly paired for the dish and is a mixed fish sauce with garlic, chilli and believe lime or lemon. Highly recommended when you visit. There is a small fee to modify the dish to nothern style springrolls and is worth the extra couple of dollars.

My partners favorite dish is menu item #19 Rare or Medium Beef Rice Noodle Soup (PHO BO TAI). We also asked for no sides or green vegetables or condiments as the flavour of the broth is exceptional.

As you can see the restaurant is understanding of each person's different taste requirements and are willing to modify to your liking. There can be a small fee depending on the type of change which is to be expected.

The restaurant is clean with ample comfortable seating, providing generous serving sizes of great tasting food at exceptional value for money. Drop in and give it a go.

The BEST Vietnamese restaurant and meal I have had outside of Vietnam. Great meal and service. Clean and tidy. The fact there were Vietnamese and other Asian people eating there is proof enough.

A delicious and easy Vietnamese restaurant. Beef pho and fried seafood spring rolls are recommended. Cash payment is recommended here. A surcharge will be added to the card.

Really tasty pho, first time I tried this place as I've heard good reviews and it did not disappoint. $15 for small and $16 for large. Nice customer service and stylish restaurant. They also provide complimentary tea which is great

I hadn’t been here for 7 or 8 years. The pho is exactly how I remember. Quite complex broth. Great salad. $15 for large. I really like it. I spend a bit of time in Vietnam and I would buy this pho there. Although it would probably only cost about $2.

It’s the only Vietnamese shop I will go for my pho on my Monthly affair when I come to Sydney. The special beef pho is so delicious. Portion is huge, broth is sweet and yummy, the beef meat quality is so good. Goes so well with the chilly. Must come to try!

Forget Pho AN in Bankstown, the pho here at Pho Pasteur (city) is as far as I'm concerned the best in Sydney, and possibly the best in Australia, and I've eaten pho all over the country. Pasteur's sister restaurant in Bankstown was closed a while ago - and that was hands down the best pho anywhere , but this pho at the city location now takes the #1position. There are 3 things I really like here:
1) The pho, and food in general is delicious. The pho comes in 2 sizes, small and large, and the servings are very generous. We also had the Salt n Spicy Squid, and the fried wontons. The restaurant is clean, well presented, and in a very handy location down near central station / chinatown in George St. There is a huge range of options on the menu, and there's something sure to please everyone.
2) The service. Friendly service here, the staff and the owner treat customers very well. It's something that I really value in a restaurant. I have been here a few times now, and I always find the service very good.
3) Finally, the restaurant accepts EFTPOS and credit cards. That means they are honest, and contribute to society. I highly value this. The fact that you take electronic payment (unlike most VN restaurants) gives you extra points in my opinion because in addition, makes it very convenient and handy to eat here even if you haven't got cash.
In summary, if you want to have a great VN meal, come down and give it a try. I'm sure you won't be disappointed!

Don't make a mistake like I did. The large pho is actually good for two people. If you're by yourself, just order small, but it's only a dollar difference to make it large.

Generous serving and the soup is real nice for the cold season. The porkchop is real tasty as well if you want extra meat. I'd go back here at anytime I'm craving pho if only I live close to it.

This has got to be one of Sydney's greatest hidden treasures. It used to be (over 20 years ago!) one of the best spots for phõ and cheap as chips. They haven't increased their prices but the place is scrubbed clean as a whistle and they have beautiful menus with a glorious selection of appetisers, soups, noodles. To try and try again. Eternal delight.

Really delicious pho. Truly one of the world’s best for pho. The pho is always reliable for taste and comes with fresh basil and bean sprouts. I’ve tried pho around the world including Vietnam and Canramatta, but the Pasteur Pho is the best. Thank you.

Special Pho is served super quick. The other dishes are quite good aswell. Nice clean tables and seats, the price is reasonable for the city. Alot of ppl go alone for a quick feed. Would recommend 2 or 4 as the booths has everything you need from cutlery, tissues and sauces. I want to try the grilled Satay chicken next and a vermicelli noodle dish.

The service is perfect. They explain and recommend to me carefully about foods and beverages. The food is extremely good, you guys should try it. If you want anything just ask the waitress, she gonna help you immediately. I don't know why a lot of people give bad comments about this restaurant. One time I was going home late, and they were still opening and welcoming all the guests. They told me the close time is 10 pm, but it was a lot of guests want to eat. So they tried to open the door until the last customer. You guys did a great job.
