I needed to replace a very old wooden patio and wanted something different and unique to my garden. I came across Huts & Decks online and made a trip to their display centre in Mandurah. I was welcomed by Corey who showed me through all their products and services. He was very friendly and helpful. He organized the process once I decided what I wanted. Dave, the owner, came for the quotes and measurement for the hut on my block and new wood skillion roof for my laundry area. He helped me find the right size I needed. The plan, written quote and building permit was prepared in a short time thereafter. Communication was always open. Zoe was very efficient in keeping me in touch with the process. Not long after I had Tristan and his team working on the demolition of old patio, building my large hut and patio in the laundry area. I am very grateful to the very professional building team, Paul, Connor and the rest of the crew for a job well done. I can now create my tropical garden around my new hut. 😊

This was a large project which had lots of intricacies with cut ins to house and existing verandah, gradient block level and ad hoc decisions to be made during the building process.
The carpenter tradesmen are very skilled and made the build look easy.

It has added character to the streetscape of our home by using timber frame and not steel.

If you are thinking of building a cabin, look no further than Huts and Decks. Dave, Zoe, Tristan and the whole crew are absolutely amazing. Dave always took the time to speak with me and answer any questions I had. He is patient and listens to your needs until you are completely happy. The workmen installed our cabin within 7 days during a very hot week in November, leaving everything neat and tidy. We are so happy we decided to go with Huts and Decks.

My wife is totally blown away with her new "she shed", a 4x4 Matilda cabin built in Perth hills.
The whole team were very professional with the entire process run like a well run family business machine. They were there when they said, and put the cabin up in 4 days. The process from quote to installation took a while but it was worth the wait.We replaced and extended our entry decking with Ekodeck Riverbank Red and we are very pleased with the result.A special mention for Paul who did most of the work,he was meticulous & clean in his work and very friendly.If you are thinking of having new or replacement decking installed and you are in the Mandurah area,give Huts & Decking WA a call,you may have to wait a while(they are busy) but you will be pleased with the result. I went online looking for a builder to supply & build a small "studio/retreat/shed" in my back garden for under $40,000. I found about 4 companies - two too expensive for me, one didn't bother replying and the other was "Huts & Decks". I made a few enquiries, got a few quotes for different options. Dave, the owner couldn't have been more helpful and understanding.
It was worth the trip from home to Furnissdale, as there were lots of huts, decking and garden ideas to look at. Some of the "huts" are kits which they supply only but others they design and build. We went for the latter. Dave designed a 4m x 2.6m hut for us and despite the timber shortage managed to supply the materials needed. The staff including Zoe were very thorough keeping me up-to date with what was happen etc.
It took a few weeks for planning permission (anything over 10 square metres needs approval) and then the site inspection and before I knew it, the raised floor was under construction. A big thank you goes to Shaun who was the onsite "boss", also to Finn, Connor, Cameron, Mark & the "work experience" guys who were friendly. The work commenced on a Wednesday and finished on the following Tuesday (due to a long weekend in the middle with half a day on the Friday). All in all it took 3.5 days to complete the work, which I was very happy about. They worked in all weathers and always turned up early! The only gripe was the radio was very loud (first thing in the morning. Whilst they had been up since 5am, we had not!). Also when they dug into the garden bed they flung the soil in every which direction, when they could have asked where they should put it. I'd just had some mulch laid down 10cm thick on the garden bed, now its all covered up! Overall though a good job done by an enthusiastic bunch of guys. These guys are great. They had built a complete hut for my daughter and were excellent. So I used them to thatch a hut that I built, great job done promptly, very friendly, can't complain about a thing. Certainly recommend Dave and his team.

Right from the beginning the whole process was seamless from the quote to the finish product. The installers were fantastic and arrived on time and were professional. We got the composite decking and I'm in love with my new deck! The price was great and I would definitely recommend this company! A really good family business that I will be for sure using for future outdoor projects!

Our initial visit to huts & decks was very professional. Dave took us through all aspects of setting up a deck. He was honest about starting time frame & availability of materials. The boys were very efficient, completed the job on time with total clean up. (We were away & they even bought in our bins)

Sensational service from a family owned business. Clear and detailed explanations at first contact, regular updates by phone, prompt provision of product and follow up questions responded to in a timely manner. We purchased the DIY Hampton pergola which has provided an "extra room" on out front verandah and received many positive comments from visitors. Well done to your whole team at Huts & Decks.

These guys have been A1 from day one of walking into the showroom. They have been immensity responsive on email and text and have helped us gain a beautiful asset in our pool area.

The build process has also been fantastic. They gave a good amount of texts before arriving so that we knew when our installation was taking place and that there were no issues or delays. They arrived in time every day with a smile and awesome customer service. Their work was very clean and professional and they respected the fact that they are in your home rather than a building site. I've had work carried out by other tradies who have treated the place like a building site with loud music, swearing and carrying on a though you were an inconvenience. The guys from Bali Huts and Decks were a beautiful contrast to that behaviour.

The hut itself is of great quality. It looks fantastic and just like the one in the show room. What more can I say? A1.

If i was looking for an improvement on the service or product all i could find would be that it'd be great if they had an electrician to work in conjunction with at the time of planning and building so that we could have a finished product with power and lights already installed but I can source that myself after and hope that i can get a clean electrical install now that the hut is in. I'd love to have a fan and lights done already and would have happily paid more for these guys to have had that worked out for me as one seamless process.

We are very happy with the cabin supplied and installed by Huts and Decks. Dave was very thorough and kept us up to date with all aspects of the construction and delivery and Tristan and his team did a great job in erecting the cabin. I have no hesitation in recommending Huts and Decks.

Over the years we’ve had decking and 4 Bali huts done by Tristan and his team. Incredibly quick, they leave the site clean and tidy and we have never had any issues. They can do the trickiest of jobs and are very good with their knowledge and advice. We thoroughly recommend them and the quality of their work.
