Khatala Pet Lodge

Words cannot express how fabulous Khatala Resort is. From my Walk through and pre interview Zelda made me feel as if my fur babies were going to stay with their favourite aunt for a vacation. Zelda and her daughter Ilandra are the backbone of this Resort and treat each dog as if they were their own. The suites are all spectacular and the cleanliness is beyond reproach. Being able to check in on the In room camera is an absolute blessing for worrying mums and the daily updates provided by Zelda and Ilandra are the icing on the cake. I couldn't have enjoyed my holiday as much as I did without knowing my "kids" were safe and sound. Well more than that ......they received love daily and exercise and stimulation which made them so so happy. I cannot recommend Khatala Resort enough. My fur babies will never stay anywhere else, now that I have Khatala Resort.

Absolutely outstanding quality care. Our two Australian Shepherds had the best holiday at Katala Pet Lodge. Zelda and her team went above and beyond to make sure our pups were well loved and exercised. We loved the daily updates and photos. Knowing our pups were well loved made our interstate move smooth. Fantastic! My biggest concern when travelling overseas is the care of a our beautiful, sensitive Hungarian Vizsla, Sansa. Was very happy to leave Sansa in the care of Zelda and her team, who looked after her beautifully.
I was happy to receive daily updates with photos, showing how much fun she was having, but also honest reports on how she was coping and eating etc… It took her a day or two to completely settle in, but I could she she was having a blast with all the activities and play time. Having access to the in-room camera was also very reassuring.
More than happy to recommend to any anxious/concerned dog owner Khatala Pet Lodge.

This is absolutely the best kennel I have ever seen. Beautiful surroundings for the dogs to play in, immaculately clean. Staff are amazing and it's great to be able to look at my pup when he's there on the cctv. He's very precious to us and if I could give Khatala ten stars, I would.

Our spoodle Charlie recently stayed at Khatala Pet Lodge for just over 2 weeks. I cannot recommend this place enough. As someone who was extremely anxious to leave our dog with strangers for the first time, he had the greatest time and was in the safest hands. The team that run the lodge are wonderful and responsive, and they also send through daily updates and photos. You can log in via a app to a camera where your pet is staying which also just gives you peace of mind. Charlie came home clean, so healthy and so so happy, There is nowhere else I would send our boy again. Thank you so much to the beautiful team at Khatala.

The team at Khatala lodge go above and beyond. We had never left our ‘teenager’ dog before anywhere and we were nervous to, but he was so well looked after, entertained, cared for and had a ball with daily stimulation activities such as snuffle pods and agility courses!!

We loved that we had constant daily reports on how he was going and could log in to see how he was sleeping. He was well looked after in all aspects and I could never leave him somewhere else. It was the coldest week we have had in WA for ages but with heated tiles and a cosy big bed with cushions, he was happy and warm. We can’t rate the staff and facilities at Khatala Lodge highly enough.

Excellent top level service and outstanding care for your loved furry ones. Great luxury accommodation and large play areas. Zelda and her team are so friendly and professional with excellent communication, with daily photo and video updates.

Location is near freeway exit, grounds are beautiful and green, and buildings are well kept and so clean.

There is no where as good as this and it's highly recommended.

So very thankful that we were told about Khatala from some existing customers. Annie has had her first little stay there and was so happy and relaxed when we picked her up and the rooms / play area are streets ahead of other pet lodges / kennels. Zelda and Ilandre are such calm, gentle people, perfect for our little dog. It was great logging on to the camera to see how Annie was going, and the photos of her that were sent to us were very much appreciated. We know Annie will be safe, happy and well-cared for when she stays here. Cannot recommend Khatala enough!!!

Couldn’t have had a better experience. The owner, Zelda, clearly loves pets and takes care of them like they are her own. The whole process was so caring and professional. From the detailed questionnaire to ensure our boys had the perfect treatment, to the welcome, daily photos and updates and picking them up freshly bathed, everything was magic. The care and love shown meant my partner and I could rest easy and relax to enjoy our holiday knowing how much our boys were enjoying theirs. Will always come back here!

My partner and I took our Aussie Bulldog Duncan for a 6 day stay at Khatala and we can't say enough nice things about the entire experience. Duncan is a very sensitive pup and can get quite anxious in new environments - Ilandre' and Zelda were extremely patient with him and really took the time to gain his trust, and soon enough he came out of his shell and showed off his goofy personality. We loved the fact that we could keep tabs on him through the in-room camera and received daily updates on his outdoor play and enrichment activities. Safe to say Khatala will be our go-to moving forward.

Amazing Zelda and Ilandre are like family. My Holly thinks this is her second home.

Khatala is a holiday for your fur babies. You can relax knowing they are having the most incredible time in their own 5-Star Resort.
The initial viewing put my mind at ease knowing my doggos would be so well cared for.
The drop off was sensitive and relaxed as both Zelda and Ilandré understand how hard it is to leave your babies.
You are taken through to your dogs suite to set it up as you wish to make your babies ever so comfortable.
The dogs have a gorgeous little arrival treat on their doggo day bed followed by hugs and kisses from mum and dad before being taken into the garden to explore.
My boys didn't even notice we had gone which was completely stress free for us all.
We were provided with daily updates, videos and pictures and we were able to check up on the doggos with the cameras available in their suite.
Our doggos were bathed, their bedding and toys washed and they slept for days after we picked them up.
You can see how much love Khatala have for their guests. I cannot recommend highly enough. I know Archer and Louie are dying to be back.

Extremely impressive service. Khatala is a completely different kennel than I have ever seen. You pay a little more per night, but the pups stay is all included with no addons (like a lot of other kennels charge i.e. extra for walks). They provide a beautiful setting, great facilities, and caring operators. I would highly recommend this place to anyone in Perth. I have my dogs booked in for every trip we have planned this year :)

Exceptional. This place is perfection. It is never easy leaving your dog but when our girl stayed with Khatala we knew she was in the best hands. The facility is amazing, so clean and comfortable. I don't think our girl wanted to leave.

We took Angus to a kennels today. He was there for 7 hours while Kath and I were playing golf at Meadow Springs. The kennels were like a retreat for dogs very posh and only cost $50. He had his own room with a sofa bed and a verandah leading to a large playing area. Money well spent.

I cant say enough good things about this place. the people a wonderful there really care about the dogs and know about dogs. they provide daily updates on how your dog is doing. they have a camera system with an app so u can see your dog. it's really outstanding! also they didnt charge for the full amount of time that we booked in our dog because lockdown hit and we had to take our dog away. they were truly wonderful. I would give 10 stars if I could!

my pooch has stayed here and this has to be the best luxury pet lodge in WA ..there are cameras in the rooms so you can check out your pooch whenever you like...we could not fault anything..the care they give ther doggies staying there is exceptional..there were regular updates while he was there and when we came to pick him up he was so relaxed. I cannot recommend here highly enough. For peace of mind .. well worth it.

Wow this is not a kennel this is extravagance for pets peace of mind for owners. Cctv so you can watch your pet in the room on a app.. Pets have their own television and verandah. Everyday you are sent photos and reports of organized stimulating activities in beautiful setting. Fantastic

Wouldn't leave my dog anywhere else now. Zelda and Ilandre are expert in their field and the accommodation is spotlessly clean and organised. Highly recommended.
