The village as it was! Plenty of space between these buildings. You get a real sense of what it must have been like. My primary school back in England still had bench desks and inkwells back in the 1960’s. Go into the properties that are open and read the information cards very informative. The churches are still in use and are fine examples. At the police post and Gaol you get the sense of how oppressive it must have been for alleged wrong doers. The courthouse is there as well

Great little spot just down south of Gerlandton. Beef burger was hearty and filled with gorgeous caramelised onions, the nachos were okay. Make sure to sit outside and watch the alpacas.

Amazingly beautiful place. Historical pieces beautifully preserved to showcase. It's a self-guided tour to the old buildings, a ticket for which you can take at the cafe counter. There are also some Lamas which always Rome around and you can feed them too. It was an awesome experience!.

We stopped for coffee and scones and we got a very pleasant experience. We could bring our dog to the outside area. The alpacas in the paddock were interested in our dog so we were entertained by there antics. The coffee and scones were great too.

Fantastic place to stop and stroll through the historic township. You can look in most houses and get a great sense of life. Goal is awesome..... i am sure that the place is haunted. What out for the brown alpaca he is a champion spitter.

Gorgeous place. Food is excellent. Staff excellent. Lamas wander around in nearby paddocks. Very country setting in an old settlement area. Recommend stopping in for lunch and a wander.

A fantastic glimpse into the past of a rural Western Australian town.
The nearby coffee shop makes a great "brew" and very tasty assortment of cakes and meals.

National Trust location. Friendly and fast service, food was good and affordable. The settlement was also only a few dollars to wander around and most buildings are open for you to see with some set up with props.

Great historical village. But if buildings are not better restored it will crumble.
We did not eat here.

We loved the cafe and had a beautiful meal. If you drive a van into the car park you can drive through easily to park and exit onto the road. We didn't pay for the historic turn as we'd been years ago when you could walk through.

Very interesting history here. The church is just gorgeous. Beautifully restored. Some Alpacas on the propery that are very cute. Great food. Worth stopping in to stretch your legs if travelling.
